The PBF vs. Marquez fight was not selling, they will move it to the Mexican Independance date, that will also allow an extra 2 months for ticket sales.....

If this bombs... PBF knows it will impact his request of 60/40 over Pacman

Stop lying to posters lol. The fight was more than a month away lol. There is no way to even predict poor ticket sales yet lol.

If it was all about ticket sales, he would have waited until after the first episode of 24/7 to make that call.

This just goes to show how much guys truly do hate on Floyd, or are uninformed on how boxing operates lol. They'll say anything about him. Hey, if it makes people feel better though, I'm for it lol...

poor ticket sales is highly probable.

Rescheduling the fight will be a difficult task and largely depends on when Mayweather is available. If Mayweather is healthy, a likely date is Sept. 19, which is the weekend of Mexican Independence Day and a weekend where there is traditionally a major fight involving a Mexican boxer. Marquez is regarded as Mexico's No. 1 active fighter.

Nallege - Mate - If a fight is a hot ticket, you've been watching boxing long enough to know if the tickets are hot they'll sell out very quickly, which just hasn't been the case.

Marquez is more a hardcore boxing fan and Mayweather has been retired for a little while and his live gates sans a DLH or Hatton were never that impressive.
