First round: 10 - 8 Cotto, Knockdown final seconds.
Second Round: 10 - 9 Clottey, Landed precise punches.
Third Round: 10 - 9 Cotto
Fourth Round: 10 - 9 Cotto, best round, constant left hooks and uppercuts
Fifth Round: 10 - 9 Clottey, Big Right hands, obviously due to lack of vision
Sixth Round: 10 - 9 Cotto, Clearly dominated that round.
Seventh Round: 10 - 9 Clottey, Accurate punches and some right hands.
Eighth Round: didnt have full round, Even/little towards Clottey up till last min
Ninth Round: 10 - 9 Cotto, Out Boxed Clottey.
Tenth Round: 10 - 9 Cotto, Cotto outboxing clottey off the ropes, Clottey lands some combinations, but Cotto retaliates and lands big left hook to end the round.

Championship Rounds:
Eleventh Round: 10 - 9 Cotto, Out boxing Clottey once again, Clottey being less active.
Twelfth Round: 10 - 9 Cotto, same as above.

8 rounds to 4 plus the knockdown, 116 - 111 Cotto.

 

Some Close Rounds were:
Round 10 & Round 12; So if you gave those to Clottey it would be 6 rounds to 6 rounds plus knock down for Cotto, 114 - 113 Cotto.

I've already addressed that round 10 and 12 couldve possibly gone to Clottey being close rounds. . but Cotto still would've gotten 114 - 113.

 

And peoples perspectives are worlds apart, I saw those rounds for Cotto earning him a 116 - 111. . BUT if someone was to see it go the opposite way 114 - 113 Cotto.

No arguments on those scores, But Clottey being up on a scorecard. . I dont see it. :think

Maybe there was another close round I missed? Otherwise only two possible scores I see.

 

Hmmm, I'll watch round 9 again in a few. . If it is as you say then maybe a 114 - 113 Clottey would be reasonable. . That being said it all comes down to a person perspective, It was indeed a good fight and let me take this chance to say that if Cotto's eye was functional it wouldve been a clear fight for Cotto.
