Just got done watching the fight...I feel Clottey won 7 out of the 12 rounds possibly 8 of them due to defense and clean punching but the main thing I thought watching the fight is how the majority of Cotto fans I know are also Trinidad fans. With that being said, how can any Cotto & Trinidad fan take pride in how he fought the last 3 rounds of the fight when he employed the De La Hoya trackstar strategy which you all hated against Trinidad? In fact he was worse at it because he wasn't even landing cleanly and he was all about the running. People hate on Mayweather, De La Hoya, etc but when it comes to Cotto he's showing "great heart", he's an "elite fighter" and other bs. These two need to fight again.

To be honest, I think something was up with Clottey's sneakers. He was slipping alot in that fight, especially around the parts where the signs were.

Nothing to do with his footwear lol he got dropped. Flash Knockdown may it be, but It was an official KD.

Watch the last rounds of DLH v. Trinidad, Comparing that to what Cotto did is ****ing idiotic.

Just because I don't post as much as you doesn't mean I'm a newbie. Also even if was a "newbie" it still doesn't take away the fact that the same people that are d1ckriding Cotto for running the last 3 rounds were hating on DLH because he did it against Trinidad.

STFU - you try fighting Clottey with one eye and swallowing blood. You keep forgetting the fact that Cotto could have ended the fight in the 5th or 6th round and he was ahead on points.

Comparing the last 3 rounds of last night's fight to DLH's against Trinidad is plain ignorant. DLH was running and throwing jack sh1t because he thought he had the fight sealed. Cotto was moving around because he had a huge disadvantage after round 3. But he was still in there moving, boxing, and popping shots. He could have played off the crazy gash above his eye and have said that he couldn't go after the 6th and he would have won easily on points....then we wouldn't even be having this discussion. He persevered and won the championship rounds. Clottey would've had it had he remembered how to throw punches the last 2 rounds.

Also, how could you possibly think that Clottey possibly won 8 rounds? At a minimum, Cotto won 4 of the first 6. To say that he may have won none or only one after that is ridiculous.

What about Clottey fighting with one leg? I give him props for continuing to fight however I don't give him props for his running.
