I was so shocked Clottey had Cotto and then he faded. Cotto is tough he was on the verge of being laid out and then Clottey stopped. I think that Clottey is in the Jermaine Taylor club because they cant close fights.

No offense to Miguelito he overcame a lot in this fight. I would like to see a rematch though.

You haven't seen more of Clottey before?, the man always had stamina issues.

Who knows, he didn't look tired either, he just took his foot off the gas.

I thought Cotto was on his way to being stoped and then Clottey let him go.

Said that even before the fight, Clottey will have Cotto hurt but won't bite because he doesn't have stamina and is a terrible finisher. The guy had a blown up, way past it coming off two physically/mentally damaging losses Corrales out since round 7 and couldn't finish him.

Anyone that has seen any Clottey fight before this could have seen through it easily.

My guess is that he got a bit tired, but also this: He wanted to pressure Cotto more, but at the same time he feared he could get caught by a big punch in an exchange, so he didn't throw as many punches as people would expect him to throw. After all, Clottey himself stated after the fight that "I had to be precise with my punches, because Cotto is an experienced fighter".

Clottey had stamina issues, Respected Cottos power and was hit with a lot of body punches too.

It could also be that he thought he had cotto and got over confident and tried to ease through the championship rounds

I dont think Clottey faded, he just got tried of chasing Cotto around the ring. In round 11 for instance, he landed 19 punches, Cotto landed 19. What are you gonna do?

He always fades, he's not a finisher, and he took quite a few very solid hard body shots early.

..mostly chalk it up to that he's always faded.

Because Cotto started moving and flurrying, rather than standing straight in front of Clottey and trying to punch through his guard.

Their were many times where Cotto was standing still and open to be hit yet Clottey threw like two punches and ran out of steam.
