[GIF] - Miguel Cotto Bodyslams Joshua Clottey

I was 'over' this fight, and the joke that was Cotto's gift 'victory.' And then I saw this:

Anybody want to step up and say that wasn't totally intentional now, and designed to slam Clottey as hard as possible to the canvas? Do you still think Clottey was 'acting' after he got thrown down?

Cotto grabs Clottey with his left arm, elevates up through his hips and pushes Clottey down with the right hand for good measure.

That's a joke, and a clear foul.

And we haven't even talked about the low blow or the intentional punch to the back of the head in the 12th (if anyone has gifs of those, please bring them on in).

Cotto's a straight d*ckhead. I respect his skills, but this is total bush-league chickensh*t. And he knows because he's fighting in NYC he can get away with it.

The headbutt was an accident. Cotto's 3 fouls (bodyslam, low blow and back of head punch) were intentional.

Step right up, Cotto Crew members. We're waiting.

Again, if Cotto doesn't nut-punch Zab Judah, then he gets the benefit of the doubt with the low blow in the 12th. But we've seen it before.

The bodyslam and the punch to the back of the head speak for themselves, there's no way to 'spin' them, including Clottey having Cotto's other arm in his grasp. If Clottey wants to wrestle there, then Cotto can grab his arm back. But you don't load-up to throw a shot at the back of the guy's head.

That's a clear foul and Mercante was a total hack for not laying down the law with Cotto on that.

I didn't realize how bad that was until I saw the gif (thanks to whomever posted it in another thread; can't recall who right this second).

The 12th round is where I lost respect for Cotto. He just wanted to foul Clottey in that round and what he did was a farce. That the two fouls happened so close together made it even more obvious. Mercante totally pussed-out, and Cotto Biotch knew he would get away with it in NYC. Zero respect for him for those moves. It's like he turned into Zab Judah or something.
