What Clottey did was win 8 rounds. Only the judges didn't notice.

Clottey is a *****..... heart? trying to get an opponent disqualified and falling away during the fight is counted as heart nowadays?

    Cotto showed heart, Clottey faded.....

not hating on Clottey because i like him ,and think he has serious skills

You would be a bit more impressed if he got the decision he deserved.

I actually think he hurt his career by fighting as good as he did. I think he is gonna have a hard time getting any of the elite fighters to fight. He is not a money maker and he would give most guys he faces a tuff night!

clottey did not catch himself in no way. he fell hard. Dont know how he fell because I didnt see the replay but it was a hard fall.

anyway clottey had the more accurate punches and had cotto winded running at points in the fight. it was a good fight. I wouldnt watch it aagin but it was a good fight. I had it a tie ball game including the knockdown.

There should be a rematch maybe it will be a classic now that they know eachother.

It was a great, great fight and you can't have that without two commited perfromances. I've only seen it once since - didn't like his appeals to the ref, personally.

Anyone got any idea what he is doing next? He talked about quitting right after but that'll be for ****, I hope.

the thing about clottey is he fights with a lot of passion and you can see it too in every round.

He was the better fighter that night...but I dont think he showed a hell of a lot of ticker with his bitching and letting the fight slip away when he was all over Cotto...but Im not going to question the man's heart..just didnt like that stuff.

It looks as though one judge at least was always going to rob him anyway but in the end the fight was a close on the cards when it really should have gotten to that stage IMO.

I dont think it was a bad decision or a robbbery....but Josh deserves a rematch because he was the better fighter overall, no doubt.
Props to Miguel aswell though...he changed up his tactics with success and showed some heart dealing with that cut.

I Don't think anybody should doubt Clottey's heart. Unless they are willing to fight Cotto themselves.

Good effort by Clottey, He defo did enough to at best merit at least a draw, IMO.
But you got to come w/a lil' bit more when you are fighting against the best.

Cotto scored the KD in the first which in the end.
sealed this fight for him. (It ended up being the difference on my card anyway)
    114-113

It's too bad that ****en 116-111 tarnished this fight
Clottey did his thing, Just not enough of it.
