I'd give Mayweather a chance against very limited jr middleweights. One dimensional fighters who lacked serious speed, agility, power, and were open defensively.

McCallum isn't just stronger than Mayweather. He's also got the outside game with the jab, accuracy across the board with all punches, and ability to give Mayweather it to the body like never before.

Mayweather probably gives him problems for a few rounds while fighting negatively. McCallum was a very good hitter at 154lbs, so it would be an accumulation job for a stoppage. Landing bodyshots and Mayweather lying against the ropes would be crucial for McCallum knocking out Mayweather.

    Points or late stoppage, McCallum.

C'mon man. McCallum would be ****ing huge compared to Mayweather with today's weigh-in rules. McCallum stops him. Play that card consistently if you're gonna play it ;-)

The body snatcher too big and strong for Floyd. Not to mention his power, which adds up to a KO win for the mighty Jamaican.

Mike is far too big and strong at the weight. This isn't even a match i'd get excited about and i have great respect for PBF.

i have always said to beat mayweather you need to be bigger than him and out jab him

maccalum can do both it hink it would be a step to far for mayweather who would fight with courage and would no means embarrass himself he would put up a good show but would probably lose on points

Mike McCallum by wide decision, and I wouldn't be surprised if Roger stopped it late.

It's no slight on Floyd to say he would be brutalized. He is not big enough to cope at lmw, and McCallum was one of the very best lmw's ever.

That's pretty much it in a nutshell.

Floyd doesn't have the frame for 154 and would lose his best attributes by moving up any further.

Put it this way, if it wasn't DLH and for a huge payday, he wouldn't have gone up..... would prob have stayed at 140 and never bothered with 147, never mind 154!

The eye was on that fight all along I think.

Why do we constantly match Floyd up with these bigger men who are not only natural at the weight but good shouts for the greatest of such division's history, and who were actually able to carry their strength and undiiminished ability up top higher weights still?

Next up, Manny Pacquiao vs Sugar Ray Robinson at 147 pounds, Pacquiao's one win at welter makes this fight as logical as Floyd-McCallum at 154.

Obviously i pick McCallum, not because i even think he is better, but because there are no grounds to say otherwise. Can we stoip this now?

All that needs to be said is McCallum was a natural 154, Mayweather isn't by any means. I think that about sums it up. I'd take McCallum on points or late stoppage.
