Cotto is a Warrior who never backs no matter even when he is in trouble and I am a Fan because of that. Honestly, I dont want to see them fight because one of them has to lose.

I dont know if Cotto can handle Pac's speed in his punches, footwork and movement. The way Pac throws his punches is perfect because he never cranks his arms before he throws, so you cant see it coming. Fighters that Cotto fought dont have the speed that Pac has. You can argue Shane is Fast, but thats Welterweight FAST. Speed in lower classes are way more faster and more dangerous if you cary it with you moving up.

I can see the fight going for Pac in 9 rounds. Very Bold prediction I agree but Cotto is too Knockable to go higher than that. Just think if Clot had better Stamina and never Faded theirs a Good chance he could've won the fight. Pac's Stamina is undrainable, he will outwork Cotto.

It's the truth, Cotto lacks defense to handle what Pacquiao is going to offer. I assure you after the first few punches Pac lands you will start seeing Cotto hurt badly from them. Just too much speed, power, activity and movement for Cotto. This is something Cotto has NEVER met before and not even close.

Not sure about this, My initial thought was Pac will prob blow MC out.
But after Re-watching the Clottey fight again, I think Miguel has a different approach now to trading punches.

Cotto still has shaky defense & is a sucker for an uppercut & speed.
    (Something Pac defo has)

But the size is always gonna bug me when it comes to Pac.
I mean, Cotto & Clottey both looked like middleweights on Sat.

I say if they make this @ 147lbs, Cotto should be the fav.

Cotto needs a new team. If he is really going to fight paquiao he is going to need a new trainer. If not he is going to get knocked out. This is coming from a die hard cotto fan

You might have a point. But since Hatton has always been a piece of **** as Collazo proved, and DLH was ficking dead even before the fight started, I dare to say Pacquiao, who is also very hittable, never been hit by a man like Cotto. If Cotto trains the way he is supposed to, and instead of boxing backpeddaling pushes the smaller Manny back, then this could be an easy KO for Cotto. People really understimate Clottey. Clottey is a very strong MoFO. Pacquiao is faster than both, but he is in no way stronger. And againg, just like Miguel, Manny is very hittable. I want to see how fast he can move after Cotto touch his ribs.

Good point! Is well known in boxing circles that Clottey has been up to 170lbs at fight night. They didn't even check last Saturday.

If Cotto take Pac into the later rounds pac can be in trouble. You gotta remember Cotto looks in trouble vs big elite welters that back him up. Pac is naturally smaller. Yes hes very quick and powerful but it will be interesting to see how things shape up.

I hope pac comes in as the favourite, coz I'll gladly bet some money on cotto to win this

I think people are getting carried away with pacs power after the hatton blow out.Hes a good puncher, but its accumilation with him, and i just think cottos powers getting to him before pac really gets into his stride.I dont take into account the hatton fight, hatton fought ridiculously stupid even though a beat down was inevitable

Cotto is very good but Pac is another level. Of course it won't look like the Hatton fight but Pac is too fast and too good for Miguel. Might be a mid round or late KO.

Lets not forget who Cotto was just in there with ..Clotty is tough and has a hell of a chin and MC dropped him with a jab ..Cotto was also not too bothered by Mosley's speed ..Im sure Cotto will devise a game plan to nulify Manny's speed ..Cotto is not Ricky Hatton ~!
