I think he can handle a few shots.. But a barrage and a liver shot? Im not counting on that.. Manny should fight in and out in and out...like he did ODLH and Hatton

I really hate to voice many opinions until I know the weight. At a full 147 Pac gets knocked the **** out and left for dead. A catchweight could level the playing field considerably.

I don't think Manny can handle that power, Cotto is still a beast, he has beautiful timing a hard jab and I see him knocking manny down with that stiff jab at least once in the fight. Cotto's defense has improved a lot also. and let's not forget how vicious cotto is the body.

well cottos last 5 fights are mosley, gomez, marg, jennings and clottey, three of these are big guys with great chins the other 2 got took out with ease, Im not counting it out but I would be very suprised if manny can take cottos power.

pac has a good, fast and hard right hook to counter that jab. that's why morales wasn't able to use his jab effectively in the second fight unlike in the first.

both hatton and dlh have very good left hooks but weren't able to land them cleanly vs. pac. also, remember that pac scored his first KD of hatton by ducking under a hatton left hook while countering with his right hook. pac is getting used fighting these converted left-handed guys.

Don't forget Miguel can also switch it up to southpaw and give him hell.

If he gets hit flush to the body or to the chin i dont think he'll recover too well but the thing is, i dont think he'll get hit clean too often.. He'll be in some rough moments here and there but i dont think he'll get hit flush..

You can't hit what you can't see and Pacman's speed/handspeed is on another level..

He'll punish cotto through accumulation of punches and make em quit.

No, he wouldn't be able to handle Cotto's power.

But will Cotto be able to hit him cleanly. Doubt it.

Unlike Morales Cotto is a natural southpaw, Morales was basically humiliating him when he switched southpaw. Pac was supposed to knock him out when that happened, but it just shows how good morales was.

Sure PAC can.....but not if he takes too much. Cotto is pretty powerful so in order for PAC to win he'll have to take that away. His style does that but PAC also has speed so I think Cotto will find PAC very difficult to hit and even more difficult to avoid PACs onslaught. PAC should take this fight as Miguel is probably a safer bet than either Shane or Floyd.

i assure you that pac is very good at fighting southpaws like himself. his straight left, uppercuts and right hook will land easier. d. diaz was a southpaw. like i said before, pac is really getting used to fighting these converted southpaws, dlh, hatton, and now, cotto.

morales, showboating by switching to southpaw, made him more susceptible to getting hit by pac's power shots. it was a mistake that he paid for in subsequent fights including one against that guy raheem.

Imade him ore sucseptible because he isn't a southpaw, it's basically volunteering yourself to be in a handicapped situation, Cotto would probably rip manny's head off if he catches him with a straight left, Cotto can box very well as a southpaw. I just don't see how manny can get past Cotto.

well, that's your opinion. but i assure you that pac has the more accurate, much faster and deadlier straight left here. pac is a certified p4p elite and already an ATG fighter while i'm not sure if cotto is still elite post-margo. pac is about one to two levels higher than cotto in terms of class, ability, skill and talent. that's why in boxing there are good, very good, great and ATG fighters.

cotto just has a good chance here because of his 11-12 lb size/strength advantage. without it, pac will surely win this fight. p4p and class-wise, pac is simply more superior than cotto.

All bad fights to try and pull any comparisons. In the 2nd fight with Morales Pac was just started improving his right hand. That loss was a culmination of Pac becoming a better fighter and Morales in the decline.

If you think about it all three fighters were in the twilight of their careers even Hatton who has not announced his retirement we know should be within a fight or two of his last. IMHO he should retire.

DLH was weight drained and Hatton was KO in 2 and has a tendency to leave his chin in the air.

Miguel Cotto's jab is a whole different thing.

Whether Cotto can win or not is very debateable.
