if Pacman decides to trade with Cotto, he will be in trouble. Cotto will always get the best of the trades becuz Manny is very hitable and Cotto is very accurate and stronger than Manny. I see a Cotto victory, but wouldn't be surprised if Pac pulls it off. I guess it will come down to who wants it more.

It should be a tough fight for both fighters. Cotto will defenitely have problems with pacman's speed and pacman will have trouble with cotto's power. It should be interesting how pac will handle cotto's power. With that being said i still favor pac to win this fight.

I do think his speed will be his advantage. I expect roach to come out with a game plan much like he did against oscar.

^This & I think Cotto still has a chip on his shoulder, Where as Pac is on top of the world pretty much worry free. (Eye of the tiger, Eye of the tiger...)

It will come down to who want's it more.

more like who doesn't get knockout will win the fight. I really expect somebody to get KO in this fight. If it goes to the scorecard and this fight should be in las vegas not new york then i can see pac winning. But i rather see a KO win.

There are many opinions on both sides....but I don't believe Pacman can
handle Cotto's body assault....keep in mind what Marquez did to him with those body shots.

He wasn't overwhelmingly too fast for Marquez....what makes you think that Pacman is blazingly faster than Mosley?

Of course pacman looked like lightning against a worn out dehydrated
Oscar and a predictable rush in with your gaurds down Hatton.

    Cotto wins this fight!!!!

Cotto wants to be where Pac is at, and he is no Hatton.

If they slug it out Cotto will be the one hurt and wobbly, Pacquiao is way faster than Cotto and more accurate, his punches will get there first.

Cotto has deceptive speed .It would not surprise me if he is able to out speed Manny at times ..What the real issue will be is at what catch weight will it be ..There is aleady rumblings from Roach they want it at 142 Cotto has said no lower than 144..We will have to wait and see .

i highly doubt cotto is more accurate than pac. pac is known as a sharpshooter especially with his left. he always punches at a very high percentage and at a very high speed and workrate. and cotto isn't exactly a great defensive fighter too. pac has improved his D in recent fights and has become less hittable. he now has a high guard up even when throwing punches to block possible counters. he also slips and ducks under punches while launching his own counters. pac is now very wary of defending against counters. you can thank jmm for that. pac has also developed into a good counter-puncher and his style is more refined now as a boxer-puncher.

I don't think Pacman is more accurate a puncher than Cotto.

He throws in bunches and frequently....also kind of catches people off
guard with a sucker punch that he lunges in with....Cotto will time that
and lay him belly up like he did Clottey.

Look at Morales and Marquez and then view Pacman in that context.

I think Cotto's chin at 147 is underrated. I have seen him take some hard shots to include the Margo fight and he didn't even wobble. At 140, I 'll give you that Cotto's chin is not good more than likely because of problems with the weight, but at 147 is starting to get underrated.

I would say he is more accurate than Cotto since his punches are faster and when they're faster you count 2 as it's one. It all comes down to speed in this one, Hatton who is actually fast looked like a zombie in comparison to Pac's speed, imagine how Cotto would look who isn't really THAT fast. Don't get me wrong his speed is good but Pac's is far superior.

If they slug it all comes down to speed and defense and Pac has the edge in both.
