hmm... kinda like hatton has deceptive speed... i recall you saying that before the pac hatton fight. make no mistake pac is definitely the speedster here. his hand/foot speed and movement is simply superior to cotto's.
Cotto has the style to give Pac major trouble, but if the fight is at a catch weight, Cotto can kiss his ass goodbye.
Cant wait until the fight is finally announce, and IMHO this one is going to be one for the ages.... My heart will be with Cotto for obvious reasons but my money will be with Pacquiao just in case. If both fighters come at a 100% we are going to witness a fight unlike anything seen in the last decade, trust me. They will both leave their hearts in the ring. Both of them have there countries full support behind them and that will make them fight harder...
His chin at 140 and 147 is the same, I'm a fan of his and have followed him for a long time, all these noobs here who started threads about how his chin improved at 147 was pure bull****. He was hurt from solid shots at 140 like he was hurt at 147, his chin is NOT glass but it's not iron either, it's in between. Meaning if he takes a good power shot he WILL get hurt and lose his legs, happened against Judah, Margarito and Mosley and those are at welterweight, mentioning the ones at 140 will be a long ass list. It's all about punches he doesn't see coming, that's what troubles him the most like it troubles all others but Cotto seems to lose his legs worse and Pacquiao specializes at that with his insane speed. Cotto is also SO wide open to uppercuts it's RIDICULOUS and you should know well enough about Pac's uppercuts already and how lethal they are.
Pac jumps in with punches then moves out, he's never standing in one place like Cotto does when he throws.
I agree his chin is not iron is in between, but maybe that is enough for him to trade with pac and get the better part of the tradeout which would be trouble for Manny.
i think your observation of pac hasn't been updated in the last two years. you should try watching his more recent fights again starting with his rematch of jmm.
Cotto is a conventional fighter that relies on his left. Pacman thrives on guys like. There are different versions of Cotto, and the one that showed up against Margo would trouble Pac the most.
I'm not saying Pac's defense is not good. I'm just saying his defense is not shut like Clottey's he leaves himself too open at times and vice versa but the difference will be : 1. Who wants it more 2. How quickly can Pac get out of range 3. How can each fighter deal with speed/power At 147 Pac is at a disadvantage.
