If pac thinks he can beat the welterweight stars, his ass better step up to welter or stop talking ****. It would take away alot from the fights if he wins them at a catchweight. Even roach said that he has to keep his fighters best intrests with this catch weight bs. **** that ****, you wanna fight the welters, fight them at welter....

    Just my 2 cents

lol pac is in delahoya's seat now. Delahoya was money when he fought and even mayweather agreed to a 70-30 split. Pac is the star now and if they want to fight him then they have to agree to his demand.

True, but it doesn't mean we the fans have to believe all the hype.

Pac beats Cotto at 143, and all it proves is that he's a better finisher than Torres and Corley.

not completly. Pac knows that the big money fights for him are ALL at welter(excpet marquez who he dosent want to fight again). Cotto,Mosley,Mayweather. All welters. Where else can he get a bigger payday then from a welterweight?

I agree, if I was Cotto or Mosley I would not fight him at any catchweight. Especially if he's getting a 70/30 split.

I agree -- no more catchweight bs -- but Pac won't fight Cotto at a full 147 because he knows Cotto would leave him for dead.

If that were the case we would see Pac trying to collect belts at 140.

I think it's a shame DLH had to come in at WW yet these WWs have to make a catchweight?

Pacquiao diehards apparently want to milk the "he started at 106" line forever.

Manny dominated one of the best welterweights in two decades and utterly destroyed the reigning king at 140. It's getting harder and harder to sell that he cannot compete effectively at 147.

Agreed, anyone who wants to fight Pacquiao should eaither make it down to 140 or make it a REASONABLE catchweight.

its not that simple. moving down is completly differnt then moving up. Most boxers (mosley, cotto) actually drain themselves a little bit to make 147. If they drain down beneath it then they will be completly dehydrated and weak(look at oscar). Moving up is much more reasonable, the only thing you have to look out for is harder punches and stronger clinches
