Dunky Naz is appreciated on this forum because of a potential unfulfilled .. In the history of Boxing there hasnt been a Featherweight with reflexes and power like Naz. He's one of my favourite fighters and i constantly over-rate him but his incomparable to an average fighter like Harrison.
I am in no way anti Scottish but guys like Harrison and Arthur are average fighters, thats a fact .. Naz had a potential to be an allstar, he never reached that but at least the potential was there .... I remember you picking Arthur to beat Joan Guzman a few years ago which was totally ridiculous ..
As a fan you must try and be as unbiased as possible, everyone struggles with it, for example nobody will ever convince me that Lewis or Tyson was better than Holyfield, they maybe right but for me Holyfield is my favourite so im going to defend him ....... You Dunky, defend fighters based on they're Scottish roots and when you bang on about average fighters like Harrison and Arthur its completely insane .... But fair doos your patriotic and i appreciate that fact

Eubank/Benn/Watson had a very entertaining series of fights that have gone into legend, but Nunn, Toney, Jones and McCallum beats all of them IMO .... Your talking about totally different skill sets.
When a domestic rivalries become so ingrained in the nation's consciousness its very easy to imagine that they could take on the 'World's' best but Nunn, Toney and Jones would have dominated our guys .. Eubank in particular wouldnt lay a glove on Jones or Nunn

What a load of stereotypical nonsense.

'Dunkys a jock, thats why he likes crap jock fighters' its posts like these that always make me laugh. Dont you see that you are expressing your true feelings & motives without even realising it?

Scott Harrison an average fighter? Check out the amount of world champs Scott Harrison has on his resume. & goodness knows how you can compare Scott Harrison to Alex Arthur... Whats the comparison there? Oh thats right, they trained & sparred together for a while.

Oh, & one more thing. The great Guzman, can anyone tell me what he has done recently? last I checked, it wasnt very much in the grand scheme of things. But hey, how dare me for suggesting Arthur could have beaten him, eh? how dare me suggest scottish fighters could beat anyone by your twisted reckoning.

Now quick, run over to boxrec to see what Guzman has achieved recently before you come back with more anti scottish bull****.

Wtf is a palstic boxing fan, theres nothing more irritating than someone claiming he's the **** and know one else knows anything, "my dads bigger than your dad" its a load of bollocks that gets spouted way to often.

As for ' a plastic boxing fan ' I really dont understand this comment. Why would someone pretend to be a boxing fan? They obviously like the sport, just because they call reel off the boxing history of the past 100 years makes them fake/plastic boxing fans? Give me a break.

Was a Scott Harrison fan and rated him highly at his peak, also a big Naz fan and think at his peak he could beat anyone - in his weight classes of course.

Talk about being elitist and generalising Dunky! I thought that was solely the domain of Betty and Scurla, slating all who disagree with them as "not real boxing fans". For the record, I watched Prince Naz since the Liendo fight in 1995 and Harrison since his win over Tracey Patterson in 2000 and really don't see how Scotty would hope to win. In a pub brawl, maybe, but unfortunately Marquess of Queensberry rules don;t extend to the Glasgow kiss.

IMO you can't draw any meaningful comparison from their fights with McCullough. In case you forgot, he was five years older and had been out of the ring for 2 1/2 years with what looked like a career ending brain injury before getting the all-clear. Not only was he slower and even weaker defensively, he wasn't as hurt proof as of old and still couldn't crack a feather duster. As for the Brodie fight, yeah that was a good win, but he was being outboxed for long periods until landing that bodyshot and again Brodie was clearly on the downside of his career.

I just see Harrison chugging forward and eating hard shots from unorthodox angles which will eventually start to grind him down. Whilst he's a tough chap no doubt, Scotty has always struggled somewhat with unorthodox fighters (see Medina, Polo). In a head-on brawl, his strength means he is tough to match, but Hamed wouldn't fight that way. He would simply fight the way he did against Vazquez/Johnson/Robinson. Harrison would probably land a few, but he wasn't really a concussive enough puncher to put a fighter on serious hurt street with a single blow. Hamed, by contrast, clearly was with either hand. I wouldn't expect a short fight, but I'm afraid I think your guy would be getting the worst of it.

I'd prefer a Naz-Morales/Pac/JMM debate. A proper one though, not 'Naz was a hype job bum who got exposed and schooled by Barrera'.

This post is all kinds of horrible. I don't even know where to start, so I won't bother.
