Wow this clotty fight has opened a world of opportunity for cotto its as if the cut over his eye has become a blessing in disguise. Now pac is technically better, cottos jab alone would make pac go ape ****. While I give pac a huge advantage in speed that's about all he has above cotto at welter weight. I could see pac winning the fight ud or sd after a barn burner but if you feel cotto gets blasted your in for a shock!

 

Kosta Zyu one of the best power punchers ever couldn't Knock Hatton out. It took Mayweather 10 rounds to do it. And suddenly his chin is fragile. I could say the same about Cotto after going down against Torres and Margarito.

You obviously have no clue how punches work in boxing. Fast punches that come out of no where do more damage than slow punches. Just ask Mike Tyson whose lightning quick punches made him one the best punchers in boxing history. The same goes for Pacqiauo who has great speed mix with some great power.

 

Don't ever put Pac and Mike Tyson in the same sentence when talking about KO power.

Whilst i am a huge hatton fan i am a believer that ricky is damaged goods now in terms of his punch resistance . manny deserves all the adolation that is coming his way at the moment but i still think Cotto at WW is a step too far , either way i'd pay big money to witness this fight ..a true fans fight. manny can lose and still command a PBF fight in my eyes.

pac is always up for a challenge and this is a new challenge for pac. Pac has brought his speed and power up with him so i can see him winning this fight. It wont be easy but it's a winnable fight for him.

 

PAC is going to be a moving target with speed and power until Cotto's body attack comes into effect. JMM did it; I thought he won the last fight and the championship rds.

yep. ppl here can't seem to grasp the idea that boxing is made up of boxers/fighters of different levels when it comes to class, ability, talent and skill. boxers may have similar styles but the levels can be very different. that's why there's such as thing as good, very good, great and ATG fighters in this sport.

 

cotto is good but people dont underestimate the pacman. the way he keeps shocking people, i for one wont be suprised if he demolishes cotto. pac is on another level to most fighters at the moment. the mix of offence and defence is amazing at this point. the only fighter that can beat him is floyd because of styles, cotto is not on that level of defence countering and speed.

 

c'mon man... i'm sure he means it in a p4p sense. you're taking things too literal. both tyson and pac are KO artists in their own weight classes. both use a combo of speed and power in their punches to KO their opponents. like the guy said the punches that hurt the most are the ones you don't see coming. and both tyson and pac deliver such punches.

 

yes, i do see this as a easy fight for pac, cotto is finished at the elite level, and you can thank mr. bricks, antonio margarito for doing it......

cotto's arsenal is diminished.....what happened to the explosivness?, what happened to the intelligent, mentally strong miguel cotto?

if cotto is getting hit by uppoercuts from feather-fisted clottey, who is not as fast as manny.....manny will kill cotto with combos, pot-shoting, using his better footwork, jabbing cotto to death with his underrated right hand.....

manny has cotto done in 7 rounds or less.....if this was miguel that fought mosley....pac would have to earn a very tough UD, maybe even split.....

but folks, that cotto is long gone.
