    some of you crack me up. Cotto took on a huge challenge...fought like a warrior that he is and won, dealing with a bad cut for most of the fight...against an opponent who know one really wanted..Clottey is a tough tough fighter.

    ok and?

    he wasnt the confident lion we are used to seeing... he looked uncomfortable, unsure of himself, almost panicky at certain points in the fight...

    im not mad with the score because the judges had to deal with the msg crowd which was rediculous... but cotto simply did not look confident in that fight...

    Sounds like a viable option. All the bigger names probably will overlook him. If he could lure PTP into the ring, after calling him out last night, that would also be a fight to give him a quality stage.

    fighting paul would be a bad idea...

    it would look similar to winky

    - clottey isnt strong enough to keep paul honest
    - paul is fast as **** at 147
    - clottey doesnt move around enough laterally to confuse pw

    it could have definitely played a part....

    the funny thing is imo... he fought better with the cut... in the 4th roudn he came out guns blazing looking & it was probably his best roudn... he had to buckle down more and focus more... the early rounds he just looked slow and confused... could be because he was trying to figure out clotteys style ... i dont know...

    only time will really tell

    Crazy talk,the 4th was another razor thin round that could have gone either way.In fact I gave it to Clottey.
    And he clearly was bodered by it,he couldn't stop the right hand to save his life,that's why he lost most of the middle rounds.

    I think the disagreement is that some dont feel Clottey won that many rounds. Personally I feel he won 6 at best. Which would have been a draw with the kd in the first. If it would have went either way or a draw, it certainly would have been justifiable. People who are overly upset or w ho are claiming robbery either lost money or are biased nuthuggers. There is no way anyone can claim this was a robbery.
