Of course, this is probably a toss up since both these guys stop guys with one or two punches but I wanted to see what people say. I haven't seen all of their fights, but it seems to be that Lopez might be the better boxer. But Valero being a southpaw certainly makes it dangerous fight for Lopez too!

    What do you think?

Lightweight vs Super bantam...very unlikely to happen in the near future..if at all.

Lopez impresses me much more in his own weight range.

Valero is the lightwieght version of Ponde de Leon and JuanMa have much more boxing technic than Valero and doesn't have the amateur background that JuanMa have.

Ko for Lopez. That right hand will make mincemeat out of a southpaw.

    from wikipedia:

Valero started boxing at the age of 12, reportedly compiling an amateur record of 86-6 with 57 knockouts. He was Venezuelan amateur champion three years running, as well as Central and South American Champion (beating Francisco "Panchito" Bojado).

not that it matters though but valero is nothing like ponce de leon who is slow and a mediocre athlete

Ponce De Leon looks like a unskilled laborer compared to Valero.

Would be something to see in a couple years.
(If Valero don't get Knocked out first in the interim)
