Pascal put on quit a show today at the pre-fight press confrence, is it arrogance or the guy tries to sell tickets ? Anyway, it was pretty interesting to see Pascal insulting Diaconu and dissing Larouche. For you guys that read french, take a look at this, if Diaconu needed more motivation for his optionnal defense, I tell you, the table is set for a great explosive fight.

He better give more than that, only 11 000 sold and they were hoping for a full house 22 000. Lots of work still to do.

 

Stilll, 11,000 is a very good number and it will most likely have nearer 13,000 come fight night. Canadians are not the world's biggest fight fans so I think it's a great showing.

 

Bute vs anyone brings in about 15 000, and nobody has to play clown for that.

 

Pascal didn't insult Diaconu as far as my french goes he said multiple times he respects him.
What did he say about Larouche?

It was funny when asked about what he thinks about what Pascal said Diaconu said he looks like a rap star from Star Academie(aka American Idol).

 

I was going to mention Bute. He is a fairly big star in Canada I guess and 15,000 at a fight is pretty good if you ask me wherever you are.

 

my prediction is Diaconu by wide margin.

 

Bute has a real charisma, he can fight any no name, even me :yep, and still fill the Bell center. Pascal is a big mouth and he don't live up to his words. Diaconu is reserved and shy, but he talk with his fists.

 

I was on my way to get tickets for this one, but damn, the undercard is very very poor, after seeing the superb Badley vs Holt card, this one seem very bad. Many good prospect vs very very limited opposition. Anyone feel the same???
