I don't know that I would say Margo ruined him. He can still go on to be a good fighter, but I certainly think Margo took something away from him that he will never get back.

I think Cotto is clearly still feeling the psychological impact of the beating he suffered at the hands of Margo.

Deep down, Cotto is probably always going to wonder whether or not it was loaded gloves that caused him to submit before the large Mexican welterweight.

Until he faces him again, that doubt will always persist in the back of his mind.

I don't think he ruined him. I think Clottey is just a really good fighter, and people were underating him. Some picked him to win, so its not like his doing well against Cotto should come as a surprise.

I do think that the Margarito fight "changed" Cotto in that when Clottey was putting together his combinations, and really had his right hand dialed in, Cotto started to move, and at certain points run from confrentation, where as in the past he would have stood his ground and thrown back.

I don't think Plaster Boy took away his confidence, he softened him up with his brick fists.

    :good

It's all good, I'm over it. The takedown and all.

I was 'over' the fight as well, until I saw that gif. But now I'm over that, too.

Hopkins-Echols II and Hamed-Barrera were great fights, and they (espeically the B-Hop fight) had tons of rough stuff. I'm ok with that, but the ref has to adjust to the action.

As Bernard Fernandez pointed out in the article I excerpted on the other thread, Mercante slipped before the Cotto take down and thus was out of position to call a foul. So, you gotta give him a break on that one. But you can still look at the gif and see what happened.

    It's all good. :hat

She is actually half Irish and half Puerto Rican....which is ok by me!!!![/quote]

That's right, she is. But she has a very strong "PR" look in her body/facial structure. She looks great. He REALLY messed up by cheating on her, IMO.

She's a lawyer, TV host and former Victoria's Secret model. Doesn't get a lot better than that and Gavin just tossed it away. His loss.

What about Julie Banderas? What nationality is she? I saw her this weekend on FOX and holy sh*t she looked amazing.

Of course you did. There's always good pieces of ass down by the college and the gardens. But they're not on TV, and I don't get to see them.

There's a lot to choose from with PR girls. They're hot as sh*t, and come in all colors and shapes. I've always dug them since back before college and they're still some of the hottest girls on the planet, along with Italians, Egyptians, Swedes, and some of the Eastern Euro girls.

They got internet in the South Bronx? Who knew?

The best thing about the Puerto Ricans and the Dominicans is that the smack talk never stops. I love that. A lot of non-Latinos think that all Latinos are the same but you can't get more different than the stereotypical Puerto Riqueno and, say, the stereotypical Mexican. It's like they come from different planets. :hat

    Thanks, man :good

As much as I like blonds I seem to always come back to brunettes. Banderas' face is like flawless. I wish she had a little more up top but you can't complain about a woman who looks that good. :happy

Yep. Cotto was in with a guy as built and as strong as he was, which has been a rare occasion in his career.

The great thing now on FOX is that they go to shots of the anchors walking around on the set so you get to see Banderas' body.

She was wearing these clingy black pants and, man, wow that woman was looking good. Thank God for Rupert Murdoch and his tendency to hire hot chicks for his newscasters/hosts. Yes!
