I mean if he REALLY REALLY wants to fight floyd... why not?

why does he want to fight floyd?

does he think he can beat him easily...
    does he want floyds popularity...
or is it simply about the money...

he might as well throw his own low ball offer..if he wins he can low ball floyd back and floyd will have to take it regardless

I'm thinking Shane probably needs one more big money fight too.

That divorce isn't final yet is it?

It's easier said that done. I mean I would love to make a few million and say "so and so can make three times that, at least I'm getting paid a lot" but I assume that it's much harder to do when you're in that position. I agree that if you really really want it then you should be willing to take the lower portion, I'm just saying it's probably not easy for prideful/egotistical fighters to accept getting dicked at the negotiating table.

I think someone like Williams is more likely to give up concessions at the negotiating table. He's in a tougher spot than Mosley. Harder for him to get big fights.

People have blamed both sides for Mayweather-Mosley not happening in the past, I basically just atttributed it to bad timing. It can still happen, but probably say, later in 2010 (PBF-Pacquiao in early 2010, then PBF-Mosley later that year).
