Can anyone tell me "why" he's at 170lbs? The guy looks like a stick insect! His face was gaunt as hell! Who told him that was a good idea? :think

Maybe he is thinking that he has better chance to beat GSP than Anderson Silva.

He doesnt impress me in the slightest. I just think he's another Dana ball sucking TUF wannabe. He's just happy to be there and thats about it.

:rofl Still at it i see :rofl

But true, he didn't look healthy. Why he went down in weight i don't know.
    Strange :think

  5. I agree, he hasn't looked healthy at 170, but he's winning. He was in a tough spot at 185, being small at that weight.

Either way, he's got an impressive resume.

He walks around just above 185 and when he fought Okami he realized he was too small for the division, it was the first time he had taken a loss and felt he was out powered.

Swick, seriously, where is he going? Too many gatekeepers in MMA right now, not enough prospects.

The most hyped prospect they have now is Cain Velasquez and as weve found out, even him isnt really what hes cracked up to be.

MLB, NBA, PGA, NHL, Pro Boxing...pro sports, Professional..

    Being a professional,

this is what MMA lacks professionalism...you got blob of fat like Silva whos an ex champion getting caught by a punch from a 50 year old man.

AA getting dismantled by a part time electrician.

A prospect like Cain whos so sloppy standing up its a head scratcher (did this kid train right?)

Where the **** is the professionalism in this sport??? TUF, thats not professional! more like WWE.. Dana White, can you imagine Gary Bettman acting like this fool?

The fighters, part time plumbers...knock someone out today, get knocked out tomorrow. MMA needs to tighten up if they want to be considered a pro sport.

You should start a thread on this. Some very good points you have made there. But alas this is the nature of MMA.

Be Professional! Can you take this idea and run with it in a new thread? I dont know what more to say. Maybe you can add.

No one is asking anyomne to strike like a professional boxer, just practice boxing seriously. FFS you spend 10 hours in a gym, devote ****in 2 hrs everyday to achieve at the very least a good form.

Hes 4-0 at the weight hes doing something alright. The weight only affected him in his first bout at 170 vs Burkman where he had no energy but still beat a decent fighter. Swick is a badass he will own a Championship one day maybe not while GSP is at 170 but one day he will.
