JMM has already accepted to fight at 147, and Mosley will not get Pacquiao yet (recording to ESB), so let's make this fight happen at 143 our 145!
This would be a "tune-up" fight for mosley at a lower weight, and it would be a great fight for JMM's career.

Juan Manuel Marquez is a super-featherweight.

This fight only happens if JMM beats Mayweather....and if that happens, this fight is no tuneup for either fighter, in fact JMM becomes the favorite at the same catchweight he fights Mayweather in.

I've said it a few times in this thread......when Mosely is made to become the come foward aggressor, he has a hard time establishing his jab......he seems to be lost out there trying to paw with the jab.....and its because he does'nt have the legs to cut the ring off any longer.....

.......if JMM beats Mayweather, he beats Mosley even easier.

I'd favor Pac to beat Mosley as well, Mosley is in the same situation as Roberto Duran was in his mid thirties......he cant cut the ring off to save his own life.

Mayweather has got a rib injury. The fight could be cancelled. So I was just wondering who could maintain a fight at that level with JMM. And against JMM, Mosley will never have to go forward.

Believe me, Mosley would be the aggressor, and Marquez would half step and lateral backward after every Mosley aggressive move, and then counter fiercly.

Mosley's strenghth and competitiveness is top notch.....his speed and quickness has diminished over the years, it did'nt look it vs Margarito because Margarito's speed is average at best and probably worst than that......

......but against JMM, Mosley's speed would be made to look average.....

Mosley's technical abilities imo were overrated even in his prime......I'd describe a prime Mosley as an aggressive type with great body punching skills who's main attribute to sucess was speed and quickness to compliment his aggressiveness.......

......but his speed and quickness are no longer in the top tier imo and not only as I've mentioned he does'nt have the legs to cut the ring off......he also does'nt have the skills to compete technically with a JMM type.

A prime Mosley is a different story, but not this version.

What's your point? In that case PBF is still a Super Featherweight and Pacman is still a flyweight. JMM is big enough now to make his own decisions. Obviously it goes without saying that Cotto is still a LWW as well by your reckoning. Lighten up, dude.

Funny thing is I actually had a dream about this fight about a week ago, and even though I'm a big JMM fan, in my dream he got thrashed all over the ring by Mosley and KOed by th 5th round after about 3 or 4 knockdowns througout the fight. Poor, poor Marquez. :-(

Anyway, if by some miracle this fight were to ever come off I'd consider Mosley just as big a ***** as I consider Mayweather for picking on a much smaller man. Taking on a much smaller opponent for the sake of a big payday isn't exactly what I'd call courageous.

    **** catch-weights.

Mosely would be DEAD, DRAINED and VULNERABLE at anything less than 147.

Also, Marquez is shouldn't even really be at lightweight. The guy should still be a superfeather at 37 years of age!!!

Marquez would rip Nosley a new ******* and a third eye..

I used to like Mosley back in the late 90s and 2000 but ever since then, he's been very overrated.. And dont let the margarito fight fool u.. Margo was only tailor made for him.
