It was a good one. If you know how to score a fight. Given your lack of boxing knowledge you consistently display I doubt that you would have a clue what is going on in a fight.

I agree, Cotto-Clottey was not a robbery, and I scored it for Clottey. I think Joshua clearly did better than Miguel, but the knockdown made it very close, so what can you do, we all knew a close fight would favor Cotto in his hometown.

I just hope Clottey will get another opportunity, he suffers from the Glen Johnson curse and deserves better.

 

I don't agree with that at all. These fighters bust their ass for several weeks, months, and years to achieve what they do in the ring, and then they give their all in there and risk their lives in the process for the W. So whether a fighter deserves the win by 10 points or a single point they still deserved the victory. Bottom line is if the majority of the scoring public (by that I mean fans who actually know how to score a fight) concedes that you won, then you deserve to be rewarded.

Try telling this explaining this whole robbery/close fight thing to a dedicate proffesional fighter who has just lost a tough, close decision that he probably deserved and see where that gets you. A loss no matter how competitive robs these fighter of opportunities for better matchups and bigger money in the future so I'm not sure they'd agree with you much. That's why I don't mind a fighter who stands up and starts complaing about the result if they legitemately deserved the win.

Go ahead and try and argue with me, but it won't get you anywhere beceause you'll never get me to agere with your points. A win is a win no mattter how wid ethe discrepancy. If we had a better scoring system in place and better judges such errors wouldn't occur anywhere near as often.

 

Since I realize that 90% of people that watch boxing dont know how to score a fight. Im in the latter 10% that makes me an expert. Im the guy who does his job. Who the **** are you?

Exactly, if this was Mosley or Pacquiao or Marquez I probably wouldnt care.

Chances are these guys will get another shot. Guys like Clottey, its one and done. There is no way anybody will want to fight him now. He might get a fight will Williams, but given Williams style it'll be rough.


Cotto is Arums meal ticket, and there was no way he was gonna let Clottey get a close decision. Even if he deserved it, which he did.

Agreed,I scored it twice and once had it a draw and once Clottey by a point,he did enough IMO to win but it was close and could have gone either way.:good

Put yourself in their shoes and see if you agree with this whole close fight/robbery concept that you all bring up so often. Like I said, a fight lost no matter how close or wide still robs them of cash and bigger fights. So a robbery by any margin is still a robbery in my eyes and in their eyes as well.
