Totally agree. I've dislocated my shoulder a couple of times and my shoulder aches when I watch that fight (especially during the clinches). Damn that was an incredible show of heart! :good
see thats why i posted this thread , ive never seen this fight before, but i guarantee i will.a separated shoulder ? **** man i could only imagine.how in the hell did he fight , one handed ? ive got to see this.
It has to go to corrales. This man cried because they stopped the fight against floyd. He said hes a warrior and he should have went out on his back. and against castillo. was even more amazing because he can back to win. and against freitas???? man chcio showed what true heart was and he will be missed rip
Joe Frazier in Ali III is my favourite. I also love Marquez in Pacquiao I. The story is he had a flash of "quit" when he was on the duck, decided "**** that" and clawed his way back.
:good And most notably Gatti-Ward 2 when ward's eardrum was busted and he kept telling gatti not to stop punching. He was fighting three gattis from then on. That's not the BEST show it's pretty damn impressive.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QY1jzjTjIhY This is the last round, but the whole fight is on YT as well.
I kinda thought the spitting of the mouthpiece was a ***** move. Still an amazing display of heart but that taints it a bit for me. Vargas against Trinidad was the first one that came to my mind when I saw this thread title. To suffer 2 KDs at the hands of trinidad in the very first round. Come back to give Tito his toughest fight to date and still keep trying to fight back after being decapitated in the 12th round. Hell if they hadn't stopped it I think he may have let Tito kill him before quitting.
as as mentioned above, ali-frazier 3. despite reports to the contrary, frazier BEGGED futch to be let out for the last round when he was legally blind and near dead. that's heart, balls and hate at it's finest
ok just watched and wow, how long was he fighting like that, i could only find the last rd? he really rocked potter with one hand.
