Disagree with you there. He's on a mad, mad diet to keep him at 160, he'll be bigish at 168, there's no reason at all he can't make 175 with a little bit of help for the right people.

His punch resistance and heart are beyond reproach.

Is a chance?Psss,I'm hoping Bouchard makes a gameplan for that situation:D
Hell yeah there is a big chance.Luckily Pascal's stamina is weak also and by the time Diaconu is tired hopefully Pascal is right there with him.
I just can't picture Pascal not getting unfocused and squareing up,at least a few times.

    Agreed 100% there,the armenian is a warrior and I'm a big fan.

But he will get beat at 168.He won't make it to 175.

This is how I see it. I have the oddest feeling this one may boil down to heart, and that usually-bull**** cliche about "who wants it more".

Who do you think has his number at 168?

he won every round on 2 judges scorecards lost one on the other and lost 2 on most peoples cards and was generally given a lot of trouble in the second half of the fight by a very poor opponent

    Could be plenty of guys.
Kessler,Bute and Andrade spiring to mind.

I thought he lost one at most, the one in the middle where he got caught a few times.Definetely not ''a lot'' of trouble.A lot means when it's actually a fight.

I think Kessler is a good shout, I disagree where the other two are concerned. Bute was basically outlasted by a game Andrade, but Andrade is really, really limited. Last time out he looked sloooooooow. He's an accident waiting to happen at the highest level for me.

I'd really like to see any one of these fights, but the only one I wouldn't make him a favourite in would be Kessler.

It's gonna be a good fight. Pascal is the better fighter skill vs. skill, and certainly better than Chris Henry, but it all depends on how well can he adjust to the LHW division and to Diaconu's strong physical style, which makes this fight hard to pick, therefore the boxing fan excited. If he can manage to box his way through the 1st half of the fight, controlling the pace, outworking Diaconu and taking minimal damage, he'll finish strong in the last rounds. If he can't keep Diaconu away and it turns out to be a war, Pascal will only have a chance if he can bring up good power from 168, otherwise he's going to lose.

    Agree to disagree.
I'd give Andrade an awesoem shot at winning, outworking him and with his chin he could take his shots.
It's all talk anyway. We will see.

Good post Big Bone. Pascal has some experience at 175, don't forget.

    Let's hope so!

Anyone know if Andrade-Bute are any closer to sorting out a rematch?

Lucian is trying to get Froch unification in september.

IF not then it's gonna be Bute vs Andrade II.

At least that is the latest new which was a while ago.

    Cool, thanks.

I think Froch would beat Bute, what do you think?

Abraham would be fine at 175 I'm sure. He is a very, very tough man and a stone won't change that.
