Ok, November 14th? Cotto VS Manny....I give the Cotto fans props for showing their guy loyal support, what true die-hards of a fighter are suppossed to do....but I just don't see how this guy has a chance....lets re-cap manny pacquiao's last 3 fights and what the "observers" had to say....

    1. Manny Pacquiao vs David Diaz- WBC Lightweight Title
The "observers" said "manny can't fight at 135" he will get beat by the bigger man, david diaz.....david diaz for christ sakes......
result: Pacquiao brutal and bloody KO of diaz

    2. Manny Pacquiao vs Oscar De La Hoya-Catchweight agreed to at 147.
The "observers" once again said pac was crazy going up in weight fighting oscar.....and oscar said "size would be the key"
result: A one-sided beat down of the golden boy, this resulting in his eventual retirement for the sport of boxing.

    3. Manny Pacquiao vs Ricky Hatton: Jr. Welter Lineal Title
The "observers" once again said manny was out of his league, fighting this time a "live" underdog that was undefeated at his weight, and that had been lineal champ for 4 years.....
result: one of the most sentalating knockouts we have seen a big PPV fight in years.....

    4. Manny Pacquaio vs Miguel Cotto
The "observers" are once again saying manny is out of his league, cotto this time is a "live" top gun welterweight
result: You see the pattern that is starting to develop here, its very predictable.....

Also explain to me the day after cotto, gets a razor-thin unimpressive win, manny anf bob arum are so eager to fight cotto....we all know roach is "mr. opportunist"......

IMO cotto has no chance, he is a good fighter, and has good moments in his carear, and by no means am i the hardcore pac fan or cotto-hater....this is just the way I see it.....

Cotto has significantly declined as a fighter he is not the same man, that fought mosley or margarito.....antonio margarito, this cheater, had cotto's mental confidence locked in a safe somewhere in tijuana, it may sound like a joke, but I'm being serious.....

cotto looked flat, slow, and has improved his defense and was able to get enough style points, and a off-balance knockdown to beat a good but limited fighter in Joshua Clottey.....if clottey landed straight right hands, and uppercuts, who is not exactly the most fastest gun in the west....imagine what asian hurricane from the phillippines is going to do?

Plus clottey is not a heavy-handed guy....i see manny using his very underrated right jab to death, cotto has just average footwork so manny will pot-shot and move and turn cotto all night, and cotto is very easy to hit with uppercuts, imagine whats going to happen after cotto feels about 3-4 steady diets of upper-cuts....cotto will kiss the floor.....

Manny wins this at any weight....I'm afraid Cotto will have a very sad chapter in history, a fighter with potential greatness robbed by a known cheater in Antonio Margartito.....

However, the Saga of Manny Pacquiao Continues.....and the "observers" go down again.....Same ole' story...

    Your Thoughts?

Diaz was a punching bag. The fight was a forgone conclusion. About 1% of people probably picked Diaz.

DLH was SHOT TO ****, DRAINED and should have BEEN IN HOSPITAL that night. Not a boxing ring.

Hatton was also done. Badly hurt (twice) by INACTIVE, JOURNEYMAN Lazcano. The corrupt referee allowed Hatton to tie his laces and recover.

I can't take anything away from Pacman though, the guy has been totally awesome. 3 DEVASTATING KOs/TKOs and not a single round lost - amazing.

However, people are putting too much stock into these wins. Cotto will be the best fighter Manny has EVER faced. The disparity in size will be evidence, as will the disparity in power. Cotto aint slow either, he has very good handspeed. Obivously it won't match Pac's but it's still good.

If Cotto can take anything Clottey, Mosely and a LOADED GLOVED CHEATER can throw then Manny aint KOing **** this time.

see i was one of those people as well, i thought hatton would get him as well, and i picked manny to beat oscar......

manny just keeps improving everytime out....and the thing is yes margo is a cheater, and is horrible for what he did, but it shows you, that you can break cotto, not just physically but emotional and mentally.....i see manny doing it.

Are you seriously thinking Manny 'Pacman' Pacquiao will apply the same kind of heart breaking pressure to Cotto as a loaded gloved inhumanly large Welterweight such as Margarito did?

OBSCENE. This is the thing with the Pac hype - people just get delusional.

Pac's chin is also NOWHERE NEAR as good as Mosely's or Margarito's. Those two have granite chins and Pac was rocked by Marquez at 130. Although Pac does have a never good chin it won't stand up to continual abuse from Cotto.

you can't hit what you can't catch, and cotto is at his best when he is a agressor....is cotto the great counter-puncher of a marquez, or a guy like morales that can make manny pay for his agression?

    the simple answer is NO

You got a link to proof this "observer " bs.

    1. Are you serious? Many and i do mean many thought Pacquiao would easily beat Diaz and i was one of them and good lord many and myself were right.

    2. Yea many thought Oscar size will be too much for Pacquiao but guess what? I wasn't one of them cause before the fight i knew Oscar won't look the same and he look like he was weight drain. I mean damn the man weigh at 145 pounds a month before a fight for goodness sake. And Oscar weight 147 on fight night in which prove he was dehydrated.

    3. Most observer thought Pacquiao speed , skills will be too much for Hatton and i was one of them and good lord i was right.

I hope Pacquiao vs Cotto happens and if it happens at 145 pounds, it be an even fight cause i don't know if Cotto will be weight drain or not but i'll be pulling for Cotto and i hope Cotto ko Pacquiao so Pacquiao biased fans will finally disappear.

Even if those past opponents were shot or what the hell excuses you have, an average fighter may win but not demolish them.....But the way pac beats them and made them look like nobodies is something extraordinary...

Dear me. Are you still serious? Marquez hit Pac plenty and Cotto would eat Marquez and Morales alive. Cotto will make Pac pay - trust me. Unless this takes place at some stupid catch weight Cotto will demolish the Pac train and end the hype - once and for all.

I just can't believe the huggery of some people. Quintana, Mosely, Margarito, Clottey are about ONE HUNDRED BILLION times better than the Diaz, Hatton and DLH Manny fought. Cotto will obliterate Pac man.

I'll give Pacquiaio credit if he beats a healthy Cotto at 147 pounds. I said at 145 pounds it's an even fight cause i don't know if Cotto be effected by a weight loss but at 147 pounds i'll have no excuse and i'll give Pacquiao huge props if he beats Cotto.

Why twist things? Only makes you look silly. Pacquiao was a big favorite against Diaz, so what if some said diaz would be too big, some pic the underdog in all fights.
He was the favorite against Hatton too.
What is your point? Just because he beat those people, doesn't mean you can never bet against him. I give Cotto more of a chance than the other guys, but I still think Pac wins. You didn't carry on with how "the observers" said that Mayweather will be too good for Pac Man, does that mean he probably beats him too? No.
