Rumors of Emanuel Stewert joining Cotto camp??

    Im not sure what to make of this. On Saturday night Manny seemed to be very harsh on Cotto. He seemed to decide very early on Cotto would lose and even insinuated at the end the judges may have changed their scorecards for the Heart Cotto showed...(as he(Steward) did apparently..??!?)



    edit- i needed to edit again after coming back to this and seeing how some may have thought i said Cotto didnt show Heart!..NO WAY!!! brackets steward there now jus to make sure..

    Critique Cotto's performance by highlighting Clottey's best....
    Makes a case for saying "I can teach you"

    Well, from about the 4th round on it did look like he was going to lose the same way he lost to Margo.

    Im just saying its kinda strange.

    I wouldnt say he was really criticizing, more just came out with some strange comments. I think in round 2 he came out with, 'this is clotteys night' and he just rolled with it...and came out with some other quite strange things

    He needs to teach him how to stop eating uppercuts.


    That would make Cotto a much more complete fighter, as I am sure Cotto probably knows by now.

    I didn't direct that "Why Not"" at you bro..
    In general just saying, It won't hurt Cotto.

    In Manny's defense, He is the only true qualified dude on the HBO team to speak on tactics, IMO.

    I hope Manny never trains Cotto. I don't like him. He's hardly ever said anything good about Cotto and how many great fighters besides Hearns has he trained from the start. He just gets good fighters because of his name and takes the credit after other trainers did the hard work. Plus he's never there for his fighters unless you are a heavyweight. Or your name is Andy Lee, who I don't think is anything special.

    Steward doesn't usually train short fighters that don't have a good right straight.
