Michalczewski would have stopped Roy, no doubt about it!

I don't even like DM, just calling it like it is.

RJJ's reign as light heavyweight champion was the most dubious championship reigns in boxing history.

Styles make fights. There's a reason Jones never actively pursued a fight with DM.

Jones never dared to be great and always minimized his risks.

Could you imagine if Ali and Frazier never fought?

DM was the true champion at 175 during Roy's entire title reign there. He should be ****ing embarrassed.

I really hope Jones is stupid enough to fight Hopkins or Adamek before he finally calls it a day in one of the biggest waste of talent the sport has ever seen.

When the hell did Jones ever profess to being "undisputed Lightweight Champion?!" :nut
He'd have had to have limbs amputated or spend a year in a labour camp to even make 135.

again, when did u hear dm call out jones. neither man wanted to fight eachother, because they were not risk takers. you can blame jones all you want,m thats fine but be fair and cal it doem the middle, dm didnt want any of jones either. You saw Ali and Frazier because BOTH men wanted to fight.

You're making an excuse for Jones.

Nobody claims DM was one of the best ever, but people stupidly claim that about Jones.

Jones never even fought the best available opposition at his marquee weight class. WHY ARE YOU WILLING TO GIVE HIM A FREE PASS ON THIS?

    :lol::lol::lol:

He never wanted anything to do with the man who was the legit champ at 175.

    Most dubious championship reign ever!

are you getting voices in you're head. who called jones the best ever? Jones will be remembered as a fighter who was one of the most talented fighters of all time but who never dared to be great, instead he fought a bunch of madatories for made alot of money. jones dosnet rank up there with the very best. but if you're talk about guys jones should have fought why dont you mention guys like mccallum when he was young or eubank, mclellan, been, nunn etc. why are you mentioning dm when dm did the same thing jones did, fight a bunch of WBO mandatories. that guy never wanted to fight jones anyway because if he did, he would have called him out. see what a hypocrit you are? Jones and DM are one in the same but yet you want to focus on jones. and some of the guys DM fought are guys jones had already beaten. futher proff that he was a jones COPYCAT. both those guys did the same thing, they AVOIDED EACHOTHER. if you wanted to play somebody, blame both of them.

Bull****, beating 18 world champs is nothing? beating the P4P #2 Toney is nothing? being a 6 time world champion in 4 different weight classes is nothing? Winning 24 world title fights is nothing? Being the only man ever to be MW, LHW and HW champ is nothing? STFU you delusional hater, RJJ is miles ahead the guy in your avatar.

DM had a chance to KO Jones. If anyone in that era ould do it, it was him. An all-time great jab, great stamina, chin, and power.

But that being said, I still think Roy would have won on points. DM with a significant puncher's chance.

DM had no style. He was a convention belt fighter.

Roy wasn't technically sound either, but he was too good of an athlete for a limited guy that nobody will remember except for Rumsfeld.

dm is not really a one punch ko guy though. alot of his koes came from accumulation of punches.

You are either joking, or you are ignorant.
