I've noticed an extreme hatred of Matthew Hatton on these forums for a while now (well, you can't help but not notice can you? ).

Can somebody tell me what's the deal with that? I have no opinion of him one way or the other as I don't know him nor have I met him, and to me he's just an average boxer in a lucky position (riding his superstar brother's coat tails). So what has he done that has caused so much venom to be spat his way?

What's the stories that have caused this? Please don't just say he's a c*** or a twat or whatever, because I've gathered that's the general consensus by now. I just want to know why he's regarded as such a dick.
(I'm not defending or attacking him, I've just never seen such a level of personal hatred towards a boxer in the Brit forum that's all and I'm intrigued. :huh )

Quite a few people on here have met him and they all seem to agree he is a knob of the highest order.

Never heard this one before mate to be honest, but to tell you the truth having met him a few times at Arnie's gym and having a quick chat with him at the Khan/Barrera fight at the MEN he has always come across as pretty sound.

 

Audley Harrison?

 

Yeah mate as SAFC said. I've met him twice he was rude and arrogant. never liked him before that really but thought i'd try and be nice and ask him for a photo as well as Ricky, he turned his back and Ricky was quite accomodating. If i'd have been hard as **** I would have slapped him right across the back of that fat head of his. The other time he was just being a bit of a tosser with everyone acting the tough guy. Twat of the highest order IMO

 

The criteria is that they have to be a boxer as well.

 

Does sound like a complete tosser. There's one thing worse than a person with an arrogant ego, and that's a person with an arrogant ego who is only recognized off the back of someone else. How very sad.

Fortunately virtually all the boxers I've ever met has been really down to earth and nice guys, and have always stopped for a chat, photo or whatever and never giving the brush off.
I also dare say a lot of boxer's "fight persona", may be arrogant but they're probably pretty cool really on a person-to-person basis. I actually think Audley would be a real nice guy if you met him and wouldn't have no problem talking to you or posing for photos etc.
