Cotto Vs Pacquiao is a legit fight at 147, but PBF Vs JMM is not at 143?:think

Pac is the man at 140,fought at 147 already, hasn't shown signs the weight affects him.

Battle tested against an aged and weight drained 147lb ODH and a 2 round brutal 2 rd KO vs ricky hatton? Please explain how that is battle tested... He boxed circles around DLH and barely sweated against Hatton.

He is the official 140lb champ, and the best at the weight with amazing speed and power.

I am referring to Cotto and PBF being "legit" WW, and they are both scheduled to fight smaller men. FYI Pac and JMM fought each other not too long ago in a couple classic bouts that were very close... Yet PBF gets **** for fighting JMM, and Cotto doesn't get the same for fighting Pac. The "double standard" is where my question comes from.

But when Floyd fought hatton, he caught **** for fighting the smaller guy again.

JMM isn't proven at the weight, Pac clearly is.

There's a big difference, come on duke.

not by me he wasn't, i didn't like that fight because i thought Cotto was the man to beat back then, not because he was smaller (which he actually wasn't).

How can we say that he is carrying the weight a lot better when JMM hasn't fought that high yet? JMM could be a roided up monster at 143. Who knows?

I'm sure you were all for the fight, and I was also. BUT it seems that the general population of the board were so excited for Cotto Vs Pac announcement. But were disgusted by the PBF V JMM. Especially when JMM and Pac are/were on the same level a few pounds ago.

That was a hellova punch. I give pac a lot of respect for fighting the best. That punch could've KO'd a lot of guys out there right now. So we established that Pac can get up to JWW or WW with no problem. So JMM would have to fight whom to get the respect at those higher weights? Say a tim bradley @140 and a Collazo @ 147?
