i always score a fight live you get the better scorecard as it happens i think.

Probably true since you don't know the result. But I only score close/known controversial fights to see how I saw it.

I think you get a better scorecard afterwards.

It's hard to score a fight live, that's when bias is more likely to take over and you're a bit too buzzing to take it all in.

Funnily enough, I am not normally that excited during a fight, I just get a buzz after if it's been a good fight.

I'd rather just enjoy the fight the first time around, if I've got a pen and paper handy I'll mark down the winner of each round "for fun" but thats about it. If its close I'll wait until I'm in the right mood and score it properly.

Poor fight, TFFP you dropped your clan hat!
I had it 115-113 to ODLH, but that was one hell of a boring fight, put on a classic close fight next!Pac Marquez I and II are great ones to score!

Yep, but I'd never claim it was a "proper" card, just how I 'felt' the fight was going at the time. If it was a close fight and people were discussing scores then I'd have to re-score it because that first version would def. have mistakes in it.:p;)

Live you don't have the benefit of going back over rounds which is something I am guilty of doing.I try not if I can help it,but with fights like the ones in this thread its difficult

TBH I scored Hatton-Collazo closer for this thread than I did at the time, I thought Hatton won by 2 or 3 rounds on the night but when I rescored the fight to post my card up here I was VERY aware of not wanting to give Hatton any soft rounds and getting jumped on for being a biased *******!!!!
