Exactly!!! Mosley has begged for a fight with Cotto-Mayweather-Pacquiao!!! Why fight Cotto again on his home turf and allow the same kinda BS decision that he got the first time, and the one Cotto got with Clottey. Apparently someone is a douchebag and jealous of Shane. Also, very apparent is this thread creator is a Mayweather groupie, and jealous his boy is not "MAN" enough to step up like a Mosley does with Cotto/Floyd/PacMan. Mosley is making a SAVVY move here actually, if you have ANY business sense. You are at your most marketable point in 3-4 years, your 37, and just beat the supposed baddest MoFo around. Shanes moves reak of wiseness, not ignorance. This thread gets no points, and no props. Try again.

No. That's just a rude, disrespectful comment. I understand that you can get excited and make posts in a hurry but it's best to think things through before hitting that "submit reply" button.

Ettiquette and nettiquette is a lost art on this general forum - but you are better than that.

A Berto fight would have been an easy decent payday he should have taken that so he would have stayed active.

I would think he could get $3mill for a PW fight. If that ain't enough, I'm not going to feel bad for him.

How much would a Cotto rematch make him compared to Williams? He has already lost to Cotto once.

Also, remember that DiBella only offered the Mosley fight BEFORE he saw what Mosley did to Margarito. DiBella thought Mosley was shot and was trying to cherrypick a fight for Berto. He changed his mind after what he saw Mosley do to Margarito.

why does everyone use this age & money cop out thing?

he will get millions for anyone that he fights.... and he might as well take a fight to stay busy and stack some money on the side... its not like berto would be some incredibly hard fight anyways

this guy is a boxer right? he might as well fight ... Mayweather & Pacman arent fighting him any time soon... i dont know why he is making such a big deal about it

i aint trying to be rude... im just saying he made a dumb ass decision..

he would wax berto all over the place, and probably make anywhere inbetween 3-5 million dollars for doing so... if he is too old to make 3-5 million dollars I dont know what the **** is going on in the world... especially in a recession

lmao ... all im saying is he does all this whining about wanting pacman & wanting floyd..

he would easily beat berto & make good money for doing so

    exactly... thats all im saying

he would DUST BERTO! with the quickness
    make some good money

i dont know why everyone says he is to old and all this other bull****...

i thought they was talkinga bout 8 million or something for mosley.... if anything take a stay busy fight

sitting on the shelf whining like a ***** isnt going to do his body any good

A lot. Especially since I think he could beat Cotto but he probably can't beat Williams.

Mosley vs Cotto I did good on PPV considering the expectations and what not. Cotto vs Mosley II would probably do much much better considering that Cotto's star power has increased and Mosley is riding massive momentum after dethroning Margo.

I'm also willing to bet that if Golden Boy ponied up to the table for a Berto vs Mosley fight, The people in charge of Berto (DiBella? I believe it's him) would probably play all sorts of games to make sure that they DON'T get the fight but get the vote of public opinion. In other words, there'd be a lot of "Mosley wanted too much money, Mosley is ducking Berto" stuff. They know Berto isn't ready and deep down inside, they know what would happen if Berto and Mosley hooked up.

You never know if neither of those fights will happen. Mayweather already said it's either Pacquiao or Mosley next which means if he pulls out of a Pacquiao fight for money then Mosley remains an option. Of course this is nothing reliable for Mosley to wait doing nothing for so he might as well take a less risky fight in Cotto or anyone else than Williams who will most likely go in as the favorite.

Besides, didn't Williams say he plans to fight at Jr. Middle next?

pacman will never happen... and floyd could happen but not for a while... he might as well get some money on the side and stay busy as opposed to just waiting around for floyd

and as for paul... i have no clue what he's going to do ... they been so quiet and i know they want a big name and none are available...

I was assuming if clottey won they would have made a go at him but since he lost theyre thinking about plan b... but may still take clottey
