WEll Mosley should have been his own man..

Does this mean that Mosley is Hoya's puppet?

mosley is not the best welterweight... he lost to cotto remember... and if i remember paul williams was the first one to beat margarito... when he takes on a fight with paul williams then we can decide if he deserves a fight with pacquiao

I'd love to see Mosley-Williams. I'd love to get smacked in the face by a humongous pair of breasts tonight too. Unfortunately, the odds on both happening are about the same and it doesn't look too good.

Well said. I think Paul Williams is the fight for him at the moment. The HBO money will be there. Pac and May are both busy. What has Shane done? Beat up a guy that is nothing without his bricks?

I'm 57. So what. Has nothing to do with age. It is called 'market forces'.

57 and you can't grasp the point I was making? Well done. Age has everything to do with it. Mosley has been in the game for a long time and he's in the twilight of his career. He's earned the right to try and get the fight(s) he wants first.

I don't care how old he is. That means NOTHING if the MARKET FORCES aren't there. I grasped and discarded your point. Shane Mosely is not the draw if he fights Pac. He wants Pac because Pac is hot. Shane really doesn't bring anything special to the table as far as Pac is concerned in terms of draw. 147 is a packed division and he can't find an opponent there? Let him fight Williams.

You're bitching about market forces, and your solution is for Mosley to fight Williams?!?!?

    Yeah! That's ****ing brilliant!

Fight a very risky opponent in the twilight of your career when it proposes a lose-lose situation.

If Mosley loses against Williams, he will miss out on the opportunity for a bout with Pac, Floyd, or Cotto.

If Mosley beats Williams, it does little for his legacy, and it will make the other three even more reluctant to fight Shane than they already are!

You must be some type of marketing genius.

Mosley is in the twilight of his career BECAUSE of his age! He's earned the right to test the "market forces" FIRST and exhaust all avenues that lead to Pac or PBF before fighting Williams or anybody else.
