Whats up gents being that i was @ the fight first i would like to state that if you watch the fight you would see all the missed shots by Clottey and although @ a disadvantage Cotto rose to the challenge. i cant see Pacman beating Cotto and i also am a fan as for Cotto he,s focused and has the bigger body and skills to get it done in 8 if not sooner.

ppl here have the wrong notion that pac is comfortable @147. the guy weighed in @142, 5 lbs. south of the welter limit of 147 for the dlh fight.

the dlh fight @147 was really just a one-off thing for pac due to the magnitude of that fight. he and roach already said that 140 was the ideal weight class for him even before the dlh fight. that's why there were some negotiations w/ hatton to fight pac instead of malignaggi. then oscar offered pac the fight @147 and who is pac to refuse such an offer from boxing's acknowledged cash cow.

If both parties agree on a weight, whatever it is, it would be fair. Both teams won't let their fighter down during pre-fight negotiations. No one is desperate to make the fight except Arum. Anyway, there's a plan B in Mosley for Pac and Cotto can have some rest and fight at a later date.

you talk about fighting at a specific weight (147) and then you mention p4p? i think you better review your definition of p4p.

If someone is claiming to be the best fighter in boxing p4p, they should take on all challengers at THEIR best. Say what you want about Floyd but he moved up and fought De La Hoya at De La hoyas natural weight and won.

So he should take on Klitchko? Pac has already come up in weight enough.

This fight is just a bit weird for my liking. Unless it's at 147 for the WBO belt I don't really see the point. Arum just wants it so he can have this pay day, then match the winner with PBF. If he threw Pac-PBF straight away then there is a chance the cash cow could be deflated prematurely.
