    That's more of my interest.

I don't think Toney would win. No chance at all. Too short, too fat, slow, too everything that is not positive at this point.

Would he get stopped? That is the question. I'm inclined to think so.

Toney was a worthless fight before when he was ducking both Klitschkos after constantly calling them out and is below worthless now.

Only Toney fans that want him to die would recommend him for either Klitschkos at this age.

    Really!! :yikes

I could have never guessed your opinion.
Now could you tell me those same bull**** ducking accusations again?

Do you already blame Toney ducking Wladimir again in this month? Or do you wait couple of months, before you start repeating it in every Toney thread?

Toney was the one that started calling out both Klitschkos by clowming around to the media with McNuggets literally falling out of his mouth during every interview. The real question is has he EVER called them out officially and professionally?, the answer is as large as Toney's buffet friendly belly, NO.

When Toney was coming off a cheating performance against Ruiz, suspended and left lonely in Arby's Vitali Klitschko was the first to contribute and donate a FREE world title shot and against who?, the officially recognized #1. Isn't that who Toney always said he wanted to fight?, isn't this the best chance to accept it?, isn't this the "*****" Toney constantly called?, Toney turns it down and demands more than $3Million. Why would he demand more than that when he's the one coming off an embarrassing suspension and NC?, if anything he should all over it according to his trash talks.

Then Wladimir calls him out and he turns it down too and we barely heard anything from him till recently when he knows he's worth nothing coming off another NC.

You might fool the noobs here with "SHOW ME LINK YO" but you know very well that this story did infact happen without the need for me to dig links and shove them up your ass. If you don't know about it then your knowledge of Toney is poor or just playing delusional.

Toney is worth nothing at heavyweight right now, was never worth anything and will most likely never be worth anything for Wladimir or even David Haye to fight. If he wants a shot he might as well work for it, struggling and needing roids against the likes of Danny Batchelder might impress you but it doesn't impress the boxing public.

    :good

A Toney fight would prove nothing, except what we already know: defence heavyweights smaller than 6 foot without top notch power or going to be on 12 round diet of jabs and right crosses, mixed with the occasional spicy left hook. Then again, i don't think his corner would let it go on for that long; the bout probably resembles the Brewster rematch. Anti-climactic, one-sided schooling.

As for the topic, Chagaev is the #3 and absolutely the best other challenger out there.
Povetkin: would've been good, but he's less established.
Arreola: he turned down the fight, but even if he didn't, i doubt Wlad would get credit for beating up a fat mexican who hasn't beaten anyone of note
Valuev: a good fight where Valuev finally definitively loses, but of course he (or King/Sauerland) turned the fight down. Then again, we've seen that a definitive victory means nothing, especially if your name is Evander Holyfield
Dimitrenko: a good substitute, and although his record is quite good, he needs a name-establishing win before fighting Wlad.
Peter: too fat, coming off two losses, already beaten, would be beaten worse
Chambers: good fight, but again i think this would be a one-sided win for Wlad because he's basically unbeatable against smaller, defensive boxers without big punching power
Ruiz: ugly fight, let's not go there
Gomez: just coming off a loss to brother Vitali, where he didn't look like he'd be anything of a threat to his brother Wlad

So, Chagaev was definitely the best option and i'm very happy about it; it's the second best fight and since Haye pulled out, the best fight out there.

I remember that. Toney/Goosen wanted better deal than 35% so what. Sometimes negotiations falls without any ducking you know.
Why should Toney be all over Vitalis offer? It was not like he couldn’t get title shot at that time. He was one fight away to becoming mandatory challenger to WBC.

Some time after that Toney got WBC mandatory title shot anyway, but that time Vitali was already retired.

BTW. I wonder if you have same standards what constitutes ducking, when discussing about PBF. When you talk about him you seem to undestand negotiations and money side of sport much better.

Toney denied that he ever had an offer from Wladimirs camp. Every rumor in internet isnt always true you know.

Only thing I asked link for was your claim that Toney prized himself out of Wladimir fight in December. I don’t remember reading that and I doubt it is true, because Chef mentioned different reason why they didn’t choose Toney.
Chef usually seems to know his stuff.

So Batchelder fight didnt impress you. Im shocked! :yikes

What about destroying Fres Oquendo and Rahman.
Now Im pretty sure that you are very impressed by that. :yep

Chagaev is fine. I don't think it'll be much of a fight but it carries good value with it.

After Chagaev is out of the way, it'd be nice to get round to the Haye fight.
Wlad handling that himself, rather than his brother, would be very valuable for him as well.

Apart from that, fighting Toney would be fun. Arreola should make for a good action fight, even if I have severe doubts about Arreola's chances. Povetkin's out there too.

Chagaev is a better fighter than Haye to begin with and this fight is more important to the sport as a whole.

Just wish it'd be as exciting and hyped-up a fight as Wlad-Haye would be.

And wish even more than the WBA would play ball and include their belt in this fight.

I see the usual ******s are about ie farmboxer, widdow.

Chageav is the best option once Haye pulled out but if you think its a better fight than Haye would of been your all seriously deluded.

Your just all glad because you knew the threat Haye possessed.

    I'm OK with Chagaev.
After Chagaev, should Klitschko win, I'll be happy with Povetkin, Haye and Arreola as his last three opponents.
