Before i get ripped by cotto fans, I think you guys are great, and loyal fans are true testimate to the sport.....

Before the Hatton-Pac fight people were saying that this could be a tough fight for manny, and we all know what happened....

I think cotto will last longer then ricky because he is a better fighter, but I'm afraid he will end up like ricky in a brutal mess after about 7-8 rounds, maybe a david diaz like performance, gutsy but no success.....

I respect Cotto and he has great moments in his carear, cut or no cut I think he has declined, similar to hatton leading up to the pac fight........

I don't want to hear "cotto is shot" or "cotto was weight-drained at a catchweight".....he is a good fighter at this stage of his carear, no reason for him to think that or you all, if he gets sparked out by manny....

What will you say if its another shocking beat-down, what will you say about Cotto?

    Your Thoughts?

If it's at a catchweight I will say Cotto MUST have been drained.

If it happens at 147 then I will say Pac is a beast and in the top 15 of all time. I will then want him to call out Paul Williams lol no one else will be a challenge

see this is what i'm afraid of......people will say he was weight-drained....when he clearly looked healthy at 146 against clottey.

I agree that Pacman has got the beating of Cotto. For the record I am also one of the people who saw him beating Hatton- although the ease of the victory really did suprise me. He aint gonna knock Cotto out cold, IMO, but I think he'll follow Margarito's blueprint so as to beat him. He'll continually pressure Cotto and not give him an inch and I think Pacman may TKO Cotto late or win via wide UD.

cotto can also be effective at 144...but the odds would be 3-1...that's how great the public perceived pac to be

I'm expecting him to do so.

*EDIT* And will still be impressed as hell if he does, Pacquiao never fails to shock/impress.

This catch weight nonsense is a DISGRACE to the sport. If Pac wants to mix it with WLETERWEIGHTs let him come to WELTERWEIGHT. Why deny yourself the full credit of the victory.

I'm a HUGE cotto fan, but I think pac stops him in the middle rounds.
If he ko's his head off in hatton like fashion it would be jaw dropping.

Cotto said he could make 145lbs easily...But lower than that, no fight...No excuses, credit given to where it's due...
