If Wlad wins this fight (with WBA's approval of Chagaev being the beltholder) then I am perfectly fine with the Ring Magazine awarding the Ring Belt to the Klitschkos, if not, then Wlad who would be holding 3 of the 4 belts.

But could the Ring Magazine crown both Klitschko brothers? Why not. The Time magazine gives out the Person of the Year to many people (i.e the US military personnel) and even to computers in 1985 I think. So why not have two brothers receive it considering there is no one out there that comes close to beating them. Its like having Twin Towers in city with no other building reach more than 20 stories high, and trying to decide which of the two buildings should obtain the Mightiest Building award.

Why is it gay to hold a promise that one makes to his mom?

Wlad has the WBO & IBF belts & he's fighting Chagaev for the WBA & Ring Mag Championship. Unfortunately Vitali is stuck fighting the WBC mandatory Maskaev which won't add to his legacy much and he'll still only have the WBC if/when he wins. That would make Wladimir the true Heavyweight Champion of the World.

They do and they done. They are by far much more successful in the financial perspectives than most boxers out there. Doctors, champions, businessman, etc. They did not need any one to help them in their decisions based on these ventures.

But a promise is a promise, and men of strong character never brake it. Too bad they dont teach enough Jack London, Ayn Rand, and other powerful literature in our public schools to teach about character and humility (they do teach Harry Potter and Twilight, though.) Maybe if they did, you would more respect for them. Instead of having Klitschkos as role models, our youth is stuck on Spiderman, Batman, and some other jokers.

I still think Vitali is the best, WBC and all.

I see your argument, but Person of the Year and a championship are two different things.

    Are there 2 Superbowl winners?

No, thats when you start making decisions for yourself and you start looking out for whats best for your bank account. Wlad has fought a few oppenents just as dangerous as Vitali, Sanders and Peter back in 05 ring a bell. As well as Vitali fighting Lewis, Peter after 3 and a half years off, and Sanders after he destroyed little brother Wlad.

The fight itself would be a glorified sparring match where both men will walk away with the biggest paychecks of their respective careers, and more attention will be drawn to them as fighters. It's really a no lose situation for them.

The whole point in 'The Ring' belt is to crown a lineal champion at that weight. Why would the Ring sully their own criteria by effectively making their championship no different to the ABC titles? The whole reason it was brought in was to try and sort out the mess that is ruining boxing.
