Mick Hennessy will be in Montreal on friday night for the Pascal - Diaconu fight.

I think the unification fight between Bute and Froch will be signed in a few days !

    Good news

Hopefully, this is the fight this division needs!

But the alternative for Bute isn't bad either (Andrade rematch).

This is going to be SICK. I think both guys will be surprised at what the other can do when they get in there.

One thing is for sure - if Froch beats Bute then we know he would have an increased chance at having beaten Calzaghe (if they had ever fought) as Bute is stylistically about the most similar thing to Calzaghe around.

Let's just hope that Bute doesn't back out of this one.

Also, would this be for the ring belt? (Probably not I'm guessing). I know Kessler is back to training but how long are his legal issues going to rob the division of a true champ?

This fight could be quite exciting due to the huge flaws each fighter possesses which will allow the other fighter to land and land often.

With Bute, you've got a guy with handspeed and reach, who for his division, is one of the better movers, unfortunately he also has the nasty tendency of keeping that lead right hand low, especially when using the left.

With Froch, you've got a guy who keeps both hands a little low, relies on his ability to guts through similar to Clinton Woods, only I think Froch has a better chin and more power relative to his weight.

I think whichever way the fight goes, Bute will dominate 95% of the action and it will come down to whether or not Froch can find a punch that stuns Bute and then finish him off.

My money would be on Bute but it's realistically a 60/40 fight.

Bute vs Froch or Bute vs Andrade II either way is a good fight.

U better pray that Bute gets lucky twice against Andrade.

Oh i know all the rules..

If i remember correct, after the knockdown, the hometown REFEREE stopped counting and made Andrade go back to the corner... That **** was unnecessary and if that wasn't hometown cooking, then i dont know what is...

Only reason why bute got back up was because the REF gave him extra time.. That's a fact.

Froch should blast him out, Or else Bute will take a 12 Rd'er.
(Froch won't/Can't win on points vs. Bute)

Bute was up by the time the ref already turned around and as by the rules the bell should have rang.
    Clearly you don't know them.

This fight will resemble Bute/Andrade.. Froch/Andrade are both limited but they both have a hell of a chin... BUT Froch does have a better offensive ability than Andrade and that will be the difference..

Froch will knock him out late.
