Cotto insists he will fight on Nov 14 contrary to his Dr.

    His Dr. is insisting Cotto needs to take 6 months off because of the nature of the cut which required 26 stitches....6 of which were interrior.

    Cotto is resisting this advice and is determined to comply with the mandatory 3 months and will fight this Nov 14 of which the details are
    being worked out.

    He said he will be ready for Manny and the errors his corner committed will be corrected.

    I've been cut there but not of that magnitude...what are your thoughts on
    this????

    Sounds like he is really looking forward to Pacquiao!!!!!

    It should be good by november. That's 5 months from now plus i dont think he want to pass up an oppurtunity to earn his biggest payday.

    Just gotta get Pac to sign now. Cotto's willing to come to 145, but I heard that Roach wants him at 143.

    a cut like that will take 100 days to heal properly. He has time he can be ready by November.

    Cotto won't go below 145 because he has a brain. The cut is an issue though as it was a pretty deep gash.

    I know he said that, but we'll see what happens. I honestly hope he stays firm, but the fact that this is his biggest pay day, and other pressures, could try to convince him that one more pound is no big deal.

    That has been my point all along....the way Marquez stood with him and
    Morales.

    i truly believe that Manny has a great chin. with that shot of marquez chinny fighter could have gone to sleep or even just kissed the canvass.
