I wouldn't soak up too much of whats going on Josey.
I doubt the Green/Jones fight will happen, and it wasn't that long ago that we were told that Green/Mundine 2 was all signed and sealed, so I doubt that Green has no intention of fighting Mundine again.

Mundine's future is Green, and Green's future is Mundine. It's a sorry state of affairs, but unfortunately it's true. To fill in time, they try and convince the public that they're legitimate.

The average sports fan who doesn't really know boxing actually thinks that Mundine is a 3 time champ. Some even think he's been the dominant boxer in his weight division, because they see the world title, and are unaware that theres more than 1 world title.

I cringed when I heard on the news that if Green wins his next title fight (IB ****ing O), he'd have elipsed Jeff Fenech's record of being a world champion in 3 different weight divisions.

I'll say this though, if any of the two were to actually go out of their comfort zone and actually go for glory, it'd probably be Green.

Gosh you talk about retracted testicles, inverted penises and sexual surgery a lot.

To answer your question, Mundine came into it when you entered the forum with his DNA sprayed over the back of your throat and dribbling down your chin :yep

Pecks im convinced the Jones fight wll happern for Green mate it makes perfect $ense . Jones won't be able to resisit the easy payday and Greenie wants the pestige in having Jones on his record . however i do agree to mention Green's achivements in the same breath as Jeff Fenech's is laughable and to mention Mundine alongside Jeff is pure looney tunes :nut

 He was on the main board spouting all sorts of shite prior to that lol , all this talk about inverted *****'s is a bit scary but you must realise being a wee jockey himself he probably has first hand experience of this condition after bouncing his knob up and down on a cheap Indian saddle for years :yep

He looked impressive working his way through the super middleweight division because he was winning in such devestating style against fighters that had only tasted defeat from champions such as Calzaghe.

Problem was that the majority of these contenders had built up records (thanks to their promoters) that didn't give a true indication of their ability. When the time came to step up against the top dogs, they were exposed for what they were....very good fighters with plenty of class but below champion level (even if some of them did happen to snare a belt here of there.)

When Calzaghe beat up Lacy he done nothing more than expose Lacy's inability to handle crafty, agile boxers who rely on hand speed and their other exceptional skills to overcome adversity. Lacy is a top class fighter but it was inevitable that he would struggle when matched up with this particular style of boxer.

Lacy was good enough to outbox most fighters. On the rare occasion a problem arose he could slug and powerpunch his way out of a difficult situation. Unfortunately sooner or later he was always going to be found out and if it wasn't Joe then it would've been someone else.

His fight against RJJ is certainly interesting. The old Roy had the perfect game to dominate Lacy but the tools that were once Roy's WMD's have long since rusted and brought him back to the pack.

Could be another Glen Johnson nightmare for old Roy Jones Jr.

That's the way Josey Wales, give him all the support he needs.

If you're lucky he may send you a video of his opperation direct from Thailand. That should spice things up for you, keep things nice and hot on those freezing Welsh winters.

Nah i still think Lacy got absolutley schooled by Joe Calzaghe and Joe Calzaghe was the ONLY fighter around at the time who could have dished out that sort of punishment to him , people say styles make fights so WHO OTHER WAS AROUND AT THE TIME TO ACHIVE THIS V HIM ? as for Lacy being just a slugger as you suggest well thats utter bullshite Lacy could BOX you don't reach Olympic standard if you are just a crude slugger he just employed the steamroll slugger type of style to obliterate all he met pre Joe . Lacy could box but when push came to shove so called Slappy Joe boxed the **** out of him .

Lacy isn't the same fighter these days. Either JC ruined him, or the injury he sustained in the 2nd round against Tsypko ruined him, because since then, he's been a shadow of his former self, and although he lacked a bit in the skills department, he was still a wrecking ball who was a danger to anyone.
