GYMS in sydney & expereiences

Hey, I'm looking to take up boxing with the intension of fighting in the future. I'm struggling to find a good boxing gym. I live in enmore(inner west) I'm looking for somewhere that will have trainers available in the evening. I'm also not the richest guy, so price is a factor. Any help would be greatly appreciated. What were your experiences too. Thanks in advance.

 

They may be a lil far from Enmore but the only gyms i can think off around sortaarea of sydney are..

Burwood PCYC
South Sydney PCYC - i did a bit of training there for a couple months before work got it the way.. good bunch of blokes there when i was.. think they do the proper boxing trainin from 3pm to 5pm though you'll have to look it up.

ive trained at maroubra pcyc. cool bunch of young guys. mostly students, no aggro or anything. the trainer was a pretty cool. id recommend it.

 

Maroubra PCYC? You sure about that? How long ago was it?

 

South Sydney PCYC is in Redfern across the road from Redfern Oval

 

thanks, i've looked into pcyc at wooloomooloo, but redfern oval is real close to home.

I live in Maroubra and have lived here basically all my life and have never heard of Maroubra PCYC.... The closest PCYC is Eastern Suburbs PCYC which is in Daceyville.
