How does Tiger earns so much? I mean golf doesn't exactly have the biggest following, I take it its all endorsements and advertising?

 

He wasn't removed strictly for the reason that he retired (they list Jordan, after all), but due to the fact he didn't fight and therefore didn't make 10's of millions of dollars.

With the JMM fight now off, don't expect him back this year - he'd need 2 big fights to pull it off anyway. In fact, no boxer may have the ability to pull off the 2 blockbusters needed to make the list - it's no coincidence that ODLH was involved with both Floyd and Pac making the list.

I don't know numbers but from what I remember of Hatton's tv deals, if the Floyd & Pac fights were in the same year, he probably would be on there.

 

Manny gives away huge sums to the less fortunate in the Phillippines, so for the sake of charity, I hope he moves up the list.

He's half black I thought. Still I don't think that has anything to do with it...although the media does love the "nice guy & black" image, its just a breath of fresh air from the usual hip hop tough guy image usually portrayed on TV.

I think he gets his deals more through the fact that he's in a league of his own in his sport therefore is the single most popular face...all advertising goes through him.
