    Is Chef around?

The Russian media is really rattled by a report from AAPRP. The newspages are littered with info regarding the cancellation of the Klitschko-Chagaev fight. How serious is it, Chef? Is the fight still on? Is it being called off? What's the deal here?

I think the fight is pretty much on! The doctors have given green light!
    Nothing can stop the fight!

Okay, when I started this thread I was simply trying to point out a personal observation. To me Wladimir's arms look much bigger than they have in the past. I don't suspect any use of anything other than exercise and proper nutrition. I'm not sure how everyone got on the steroid and banned substance wagon. I was inquiring if anyone else figured that perhaps he has implemented plyometric and isometric exercises into his routine that could attribute to his arm growth. Not only that, he doesn't look more pumped up or defined anywhere else on his upper body, only his arms. It could just be age related also. I know I was a hard gainer in my youth, and after I turned 30, weight lifting produced mass. Of course now that mass has turned mostly to fat at 40, but you get the point.

You wouldn't recall me complaining about them because you only ever notice my Klitschko posts :D I suspect at least 2 of those guys were juicing at some stage though.

I watched a couple of videos from the open media work out. I thought Wlad looked very thin. I would say he weighs in at around 107-109 kilos at the max.

Actually in that picture he does seem to have relatively short arms for his height , but it could just be the way he's standing

Then again , short arms for someone that height still = pretty long ****in arms !

He looks a lot thicker than, let's say, in the Ibragimov fight.

He looks like he could break apart in the middle here...

A lot of times it's only the picture, Wlad's physique is very hard to judge just using pictures, sometimes he looks huge, sometimes he looks almost fragile, sometimes average.
Yet he always stays in the 240-246 pounds region. Some posters always say before every Wlad fight "Look, he is really pumped up for this fight, expect him to be 250+", and what happens? He comes in at about 245, which will also be the case this time.

in comparison to say, lennox lewis/larry holmes' arms, Wlad's arms are rather short

    --------------------------------------------------------------

haye and wlad are incredibly bulky.

    here's deontay wilder by comparison:
