Lennox is a notch above all these guys. He has both the raw force and the accuracy. He has both the uppercuts and that overhand right. Next comes Wlad and Briggs, Morrison is right around there too.
I was thinking the same thing. Big George with his super sloth punch like the one he obliterated that poor dude....what's his name.....Moore? Anyway, that punch was thrown 30 seconds before it landed and it just completely decrapitated Moore.
He only became glass jawed after Big George broke him. I think I'm joking... but, there may be something to say for that sceanrio...hmm?
The reason why this list is set up the way it is is because one man has fought all these guys. Merciless Ray Mercer. And the right answer according to the man who fought them all is..... Tommy Morrison
Listening to what boxers say about who hit the hardest isn't always reliable. Often times they will claim the the guy who's punches they stood up to hit harder than the guy who knocked them out. They guy they beat hit harder then they guy they lost to, and so on... but no doubt Tommy did hit hard.
Definitely true. Ray is known as a stand up guy and he is all there mentally. He did go the distance with Lewis and that fight was VERY competitive. He knocked out Morrison while Morrison was coming through in his prime. Yet Wlad beat up on an old mercer in 6 rds. According to him, hands down Morrison landed the hardest sustained shots agianst him of anyone.
