Today on El Nuevo Dia he was interviewed regarding his next fight and they asked about Mayweather that, that fight would be a great attraction. Cotto replied, I can't fight someone that doesn't want to fight....everytime we approach him he hides behind the excuse that I am no a PPV attraction. Cotto said Mayweather is not the principal option anyways.... Also, they are trying to get him to commit to 143-144 of which De La Hoya advised Cotto it is not a good idea. Yes, Oscar is cozying up to Cotto, but he said that Cotto is still under contract so I'm not meddling ...yet!!!!

nobody should be suprised about cotto/golden boy talk....it was running rampant around here when arum was publically defending margarito.... and too be honest...i like pac and all....but i really hope this fight comes off...and cotto wins and does sign with golden boy.....i would just love to see arum stuck there....off a manny loss with cotto jumping ship to the competition
oh absolutely....but how sweet would it be for cotto to win that fight...take home like 15-20 mil...and say "thanks bob" and sign with golden boy??? i think it would be great....maybe not the greatest idea for cottos "karma"...if there is such a thing....but hell...it would be well deserved.....and really...if cotto loses to pac....where exactly does cotto go from there? and how does arum treat him after?
