I think you have it backwards.

We may never know for sure, but I believe that Wlad would have finished Haye off rather quickly (< 6 rounds). Whereas I expect Chagaev will take Wlad into later rounds, maybe even the distance.

Wlad is in excellent shape because he knew Haye was a threat, simple as that.

    Like Ibriganov did?

I didn't realize you were so high on Ibriganov.

I really think that its not a great idea for Wladimor Klitschko to suddenly at the last moment take a fight with Ruslan. Look at it this way the majority of his training camp has been based around fighting a cruiserweight who is not a south paw with quick hands.

Some of that will help being that he was prepairing for a smaller man with hand speed, but what Ruslan can do is crack he is not moving up in weight he is a HW and a southpaw at that, Wlad has had some good luck against south paws in the past but he has also been starched by a south paw as well.

I am sure he has adjusted to that style somewhat, However Ruslan does know how to stay low and make a bigger man reach, and if Wlad can not adapt to that its going to be a long nights work for him. Ruslan did get a win over Valuev, However, Valuev isnt that special, but what Valuev does bring is size and for a man as small as Ruslan to come in with a game plan to stay low and make the bigger man reach while scoring off the misses, I think Wlad is going to have to work.

I am not sure taking this fight was the best of ideas, but I respect Wlad in doing so...

Ibragamov did make it to the final rounds didnt he?:huh I mean its not like Ibragimov did much he did have a hurt hand in that fight, and for a man of Wlads size with that power and speed and thudding jab you would think that he would have done something to wake up the veiwers.

Wlad looked like dog **** in that fight

    And that means what?

Ibriganov does nothing for 12 rounds but run, Klitschko doesn't engage.

    HYPOTHETICALLY:

Haye floors Klitschko 3 times, but get's knocked out in the 4th round.

So Ibriganov is the more dangerous better fighter?

    That's completely unrealistic.

Wladimir will control Chagaev and annhiliate him at will. It's in Wlad's hands.

You can't say the same about Haye...

I never said that Ibragimov was better than Haye, what I am saying is Wlad had a dead man in front of him but didnt have the balls to open up and close the show he could have done that at any point in the fight but he was happy with boring the **** out of the fans.

However Ibragimov is proven at HW he has some solid wins over decent opposition, Haye has yet to beat any top Heavyweight, and Barrett come on he just doesnt count, Barretts been out of the mix for ages

He's always in shape because he's disciplined, simple as that. Haye is irrelevant.

I just watched the press training, and he has thin legs, but massive arms, neck, facial structures. He should come in at around 250. However, it is hard to gauge his weight since arms contribute to the total not as much as a thick torso or big legs. He may sport the usual 246-248 when he just beefed up his upper body training, reducing strength training for his legs.

Thats nothing unusual. Most people have actually slightly longer wingspan than height. Take for example Alen Iverson 5'11 (his real height) 6'7 wingspan. Rajon Rondo 6'2 height 6'10 wingspan, Elton Brand 6'7 height 7'5 wingspan. Paul Williams 6'1 height 6'9 wingspan.

 Well that's fair enough then, I didn't know Lewis had longer than normal reach!

Now, if you want to talk long arms, let's talk Sonny Liston.
I hear he could tie his shoelaces standing straight up.
