I am primarily a boxing fan, but I like SOME mma. Guys like Georges St Pierre and Anderson Silva are really quite impressive and don't deserve the slagging off MMA gets for the typically scrappy engagements. As for the Mercer win the fight was originally supposed to be a boxing match, but it wasn't sanctioned so it had to be changed to MMA rules, Tim Sylvia was pursuing a career in boxing and wanted to use the bout as a stepping stone and I believe that they had something of a gentlemans agreement to stand up and box insteading of going to the ground and kicking etc. Nonetheless.. it was fun to watch Mercer knock that big oaf out.
Well first Ray was chocked out from the street fighter. Ray wasn't KOed. It was smart in Kimbo's part to take the fight to the ground. Wich Ray had no clue on how to fight. A stand up with Kimbo vs Ray would be almost the same as this last fight for Ray.

Mercer needs to rematch Kimbo and beat his ass. Losing to Kimbo like that was/is disgraceful. He needs to right that terrible wrong! A guy who hung tough against Lewis, Holyfield, Morrison, etc getting taken down and out by Kimbo Slice? That goes against all that is good and pure in the world!
