And a perfect check by Money.

    And hurt by Lazcanosaurus.

You know that expression, "You get kicked out of one bar...yeah, maybe it's the bar. They're just assholes.

You get kicked out of ten bars...:think"

its just a matter of time till khan gets checked again, does he really want to face hatton, knowing that this will be ricky's last fight? Hatton would come very hungry....i dont know if khan's chin can hold up against a pressure fighter like hatton, hell even hatton got inside on manny and floyd....hatton would make khan fight his fight, and its over for amir if that happens.....but would get a nice payday from frank warren

Amir khan will be a huge underdog in this fight were it to happen. What khan needs to do is develop a defence and offence so good that fighters simply cant catch him cleanly if at all. I feel though that even with impecable defence its going to be incredibly difficult for him to have consistency at the elite level.

I know what your getting at, but if you lined the two boxers up at the bar and started bashing them i would put money on Amir hitting the deck first rolling around in the ****.. :hey

Be a good pay day and he would get one up on Warren... Khan could not handle Hatton in the inside he would fall apart and Khan would start looking at his corner men for help, like he does when he is under pressure, the more i think about this one the more it goes to Hatton..:good

At the end of the day Hatton's distinctly bigger and stronger (depending on fight-night body type), but Khan's physically priming while Hatton most certainly isn't (starting to slowly but surely fade even before the brutal losses). It's actually a toss-up. Certainly doesn't go the distance.

I say amir would take this one assuming he beats kotilnik. I think kahn could get the beating of many a fighter, plus i dont think ricky hatton has devastating 1 ko capabilities. But i think it could be entertaining.

Punch resistance isn't something that stays the same throughout a career. Hatton used to have a good chin, but his punch resistance has diminished a lot. Yes, Hatton has been hit cleanly with big shots and taken them (against Tszyu and Collazo most notably) but it's taken a lot out of him. Because of his fighting style, Hatton has taken a lot of punishment inside the ring and because of his lifestyle his body has taken a lot of punishment outside of the ring aswell. To keep going from living extremely unhealthily to going into very intense training camps puts the body under a lot of stress which is going to affect his punch resistance too. After going life and death with Tszyu over 11 rounds, after being badly hurt by Collazo, after eating lead rights all night and then getting KO'd by Mayweather, after getting hurt by Lazcano and after getting obliterated by Pacquiao - Hatton doesn't have his punch resistance anymore.

Yes, Hatton has only been knocked out twice - both of which by the P4P kings at the time, but since the first KO look at his other fights. He was fairly badly hurt against Lazcano who is nothing special and Malignaggi doesn't possess the power to hurt most domestic class fighters.

You're right about Hatton not being a murderous puncher. In his prime he was of the mold that relies on systematically wearing an opponent down with a precipitation of punishment. Hatton's prime is about a tornado ride away...we're not in Kansas anymore.

Hatton came out hungry for his last fight and ate a knuckle sandwich that sent him into a coma :rofl:rofl:rofl

Seriously, though, I do get the impression that he'll be able to walk Khan down, though. I think it'd be an interesting fight.

 :nod Class post. I actually think Collazo deserves a lot of credit for the long-term destruction of Hatton. He's not a supreme hitter at his own weight, but he's naturally bigger and got in many a flush and well-executed/located blow.
