i just wanted you to see another champ who fought cotto (and to me won that fight as well but not as clealry as clottey did cotto) say that cotto ran. he would know, cause cotto ran from mosley that last half of their fight too. and you guys just absolutley love miguel's style. that is what trips me out.

The majority of the fight was extremely close...the two styles clashed but the exchanged blows like true warriors it was actually entertaining after the second time I watched the fight because I watched it without much anxiety. I'm telling cottos orginal game plan was to circle and use angles in close but without full vision he decided to distance himself giving clotty room to operate more effectively.

I hear you but unfortunely for you this is boxing and actvity ring gerneralship are just as important underterred aggression...clotty and mosely both understood they might be down in a close fight with another champion so at times they looked desperate lunging in with right hand yet still being countered and ultimatly outboxed...miguels problem is everyone expects him to steamroll his opposition so when he dosent do it they call it running I call it boxing and winning. Again if you enter into veiwing a fight with a predetermined agenda most of the fight will be seen and judged with a somewhat biased eye which is why you gave josh rounds that could and maybe should have gone to cotto.

    Yo. Who's crying?

Reread the original post. I mentioned specific rounds which I felt were typifying the controversy and difference as to the way people saw and scored, I WASN"T generalizing the whole fight. For example A lot of people give round 4 to Cotto. I felt it was a Clottey round because, like I said, Cotto was more aggressive and through more punches, but Clottey through more punches that landed cleanly.

Some people award aggression regardless and view the fact that Cotto through more shots, with badintentions, though many didn't get through that guard, which was what I was curious about, how many people judge the fight that way.

Damn uncrumple your panties boys, it was an honest question.

It doesn't even have to be a combination. A single punch to the arm can be effective aggression. You might not get the guys at the scoring table to see it that way but I've seen guys complain about numb arms after getting hit there. I've been hit in the arms where it hurt for days afterward.

I even remember some guy that fought Marciano saying that he could barely lift his arm after getting hit there.
