Most of us, including myself have only seen the guy once, destroying Derry Matthews.

No doubt he is a top fighter, I cannot wait to see more of him. But some seem to think he will win a world title when in truth hes biggest win is agaisnt Derry who has done nothing before and even worse since.

Maybe Warren had stuck him in his cupboard with Brediss Prescott after doing the unthinkable and beating up one of his boys

well it would be nice to see him get a chance to show what he has. the guy was about 38 when he smashed up dirty derry, and he looks a strong, exciting and impressive fighter.

british boxing is limited. we let so many good fighters go.

Yes, this is true, Limond was very young when he fought Choi, so he did well get the points win.

Billy why do you think Choi has struggled to get fight, are the top British fighters (not including Limond here) avoiding him, i.e. high-risk/low-reward scenario...

Would another fight with Choi be a possibility if Choi moved up to lightweight?

I don't see that "anything Arthur can do, so can Choi" holds water. I don't want this sound like I'm down on Choi, he's a good fighter who can really do things at domestic level in the UK, but I think Arthur is a step above Choi esp. at 130.

Interesting quote from Warren on the link from another thread...

"Some people think Prescott and Choi beat your prospects and you’ve canned them?

    Warren:
No one has canned Breidis Prescott, you know what's happened there, and Choi you just couldn’t get a fight for him. TV and no one was interested in him and that’s what happened. He did a job that night didn’t he? I quite like him and I think Jack [Doughty]’s done a good job but that’s two of God knows how many fighters."

I don't think Warren tried too hard, I can't beleive he couldn't market the "Mongolian Warrior" angle on the back of the Matthews win.

Truscott, Lindsay and Appleby want nothing to do with him.

He has a very good chin by the looks of it, and ferocious punching power. No ATG but I don't think anyone is saying he is. He's very exciting and respectful to his opponents and I think people JUST WANT TO SEE HIM FIGHT!!!

I don't get why they couldn't put him on an undercard. As if TV gives a **** about one of the guys on an undercard when they always have bums.

Either Warren couldn't be arsed or everybody avoided him. Probably a combination of both.

Exactly, he could have been on an undercard if Warren could be arsed, there have been some shockingly bad undercards both on Sky and ITV4 recently.

    No, too many duckers.

A fight with Mitchell or Burns at 130 makes sense to me

Maybe Choi has been pricing himself out of fights or some other reason

theres always someone looking for an opponent

hes been inactive for a while now though

he was sparring partner for scott harrison i believe a few years back

i do agree that after beating Mathews he should have been pushed in with a few other contenders
