Honestly I think Shane and PAC should be made......but Cotto vs PAC is still good. I think I'd rather see Shane vs PAC after re-thinking everything but oh well. Who ever PAC decides to fight it will be a win/win situation for boxing fans. I just feel bad for Shane b/c he deserves the fight more I think.

Mosley wants the Marquee name, hes come of an expensive divorce settlement.

    He wants PAC or Floyd.

Pointless fight. He needs to stay busy and fight Berto while waiting for the dust to settle.

I'm sure Arum is interested in Clottey/Mosely, but it makes 0 sense for Shane. I agree with Trouble - Cotto/Pac/Floyd aren't coming to him any time soon so his choice is to either do nothing or pursue Berto. What he wants (and deserves, really) just isn't available right now.

I agree. At this point...I wanna see Mosley fight SOMEONE. He shouldn't stay inactive for too long.

Exactly! I myself like Mosley but let's be real, he ain't getting none of these big fights. He's not going to get a Pac or Floyd fight so he might as well get what he can, which is Berto, Clottey or Williams. I personally think Mosley fighting any of those 3 would be a great fight. He shouldn't stay inactive waiting for these "BIG FIGHTS" for too long.

Mosley doesn't want to fight the first 3 because he doesn't view them as being worth the risk/reward. The other 3 don't want to fight Mosley if there's a better risk/reward option available, although Mosley's not too eager for the Cotto rematch, either.

What it boils down to is someone's going to have to swallow their pride and just take a fight. What good is it if the WW division just stays locked up until the winter because Mosley decides there's nobody worth fighting? If he's serious about holding out for a Pac or Mayweather, we're not going to see him fight again in 09.

That's very true, because ironically the same way Mosley views Williams, Clottey and Berto as high risk/low reward, the OTHER 3, Pac, Floyd and Cotto see Mosley as high risk/low reward. Mosley will look real good if he beats Pac, Cotto or Floyd but THEY won't, many will view them as fighters who beat an old past his prime Mosley(regardless of his victory over Margarito). I understand Mosley is at the point in his career where he needs/wants ONLY big fights, but he needs to stop being so picky and just fight already. HIS CLOCK IS TICKING and he isn't getting any younger, plus he has a WBA belt to defend.

Somehow I can't picture Berto being that big of a threat to Mosley...at least not a threat that outweighs actually unifying the belts.

Mosley vs. Williams and Berto vs. Clottey sounds good to me
